People don't care ( theories)

in #betterworld7 years ago

hello,

Please allow me to share some theories in regards to the fact that people don't care anymore. This is my opinion and I wish to be proven wrong. I want you to fill this post with links that are positive and show me that people care.
I have always been an optimistic human being. I also learned over the years many lessons. Some easier, some harder.

The reason I am saying that people don't care is because I don't understand why they don't care.
I want to give you some examples of what I am referring to.
We have been are dealing with some devastating phenomenons. Hurricane season in the Caribbean , fires in California, massive shootings , earthquakes and so on and so forth. All these events make front page , just to be forgotten a week later.
When did people stop caring? WHY?

I think us as a humanity have now become so conceited and are in a rush for new technologies, for new weapons, new this new that- and we forget to stop and look around us.

I don't understand why is there no more common sense left? I walk my dog and I see people right in front of me leaving their dogs feces right then and there-when there are clear signs and law ordinance that require you to do so. Why can't you do it simply because that would be the right thing to do? I always have the impulse to say something but you know what...sometimes I am afraid someone will be a nut job and pull a gun on me.
Is this the world we live in now? I don't like it. I often think about going and living off the grid.

I went ahead and googled something like : "What's good in 2017?" and I was happy to run into a few things.
What bothers me the most is that we are hungry and thirsty for things that in the end are only going to ruin us.
Why can't we all be better everyday?
I am sure I make mistakes, and I am sure there are things I can do more of and I will never stop trying to do at least one good deed per day. I just feel like there is so much negativity around us. I want you all to fill this post with positive things you know of, thinking of or something that someone is doing. I would love to donate my time for causes that are worth it.

Gotta run now-I might update the post shortly.
Namaste
