Some human geometry can be quite impressive

I am a big fan of natural designs and believe nothing can really beat some of nature's perfect geometry and we humans do attempt it and most times fall short. However, every once in a while you come across a human built structure and get slightly blown away by the detail and geometry they were able to construct.

I got the opportunity to climb the Cathedral in Manizales, The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Rosary, the other night and was taken back by the geometry and colour presented in the stair case leading up to the tallest tower. The original wooden stairs were rotting and they had to close access to the that tower for numerous years due to safety. In 2007, I think from memory, the metal stair case you see today was completed and the tower was again re-opened for people to experience.
