It turns out my grandfather kept the old bike in the 70s, but unfortunately now no one fixes it, so he is rusty and damaged.

That's a shame, some of those older bikes from the 70's were really well made. I used to have a nice Bianchi road bike from Italy that my dad gave me until someone stole it.
