Lummi Island from Locust Beach | Bellingham, WA

The big guy in the center there is Lummi Island, overshadowing its close friend, Portage Island. I believe that's Guemes / Samish Islands you can see on the left, and to the right is the spit of the Lummi Reservation. These old bridges out into the water always piqued my curiosity - I saw people venture out on the bridge on the left pretty far over the years, although I don't know if you can make it all the way out to where the two bridges intersect. I certainly wouldn't (I'm not the most talented swimmer), but it's amazing what drunk college kids can do when they put their mind to it.
