That meat looks mighty fine and I'd like to try that beer. Looks like your doing it right everyday, upvoted and Cheers! (>")>

Thanks for the comment and upvote!! Not sure I am doing it right every day, but at least some of the time...

Have just thrown some pork belly onto the smoker - my wife is delighted...

Cheers

Try pouring a bit of that beer on your steaks. Makes em real tender, juicy and tasty. Congrats on the new addition to the family.

You wouldn't be Scandinavian by any chance? Roasting meat in beer seems to be a little secret from the Nordic lands ;)

No, I'm Irish, Indian and German

Have never tried that, will give it a go next time!

Cheers

I think you will like it.

That steak looks perfectly cooked!

It was great - got it up to about 60c internal and then let it sit for 5 mins or so

Damn.. that steak looks so good I forgot it was a #beersaturday post

It was awesome - got some pork belly for today too!

This is quite the tasty and well-done article, @holbein81! Congratulations on the birth of your new baby. You are lucky to have found the time and energy to make such an amazing meal already. I'm sure you deserve it, though. I found the link to this article in the Unmentionables daily digest. I've upvoted and resteemed this post for you. Great job!
Cheers!
@mitneb

Hi @mitneb - thanks for commenting, upvoting and resteeming!!

We find a little time here and there for food, despite the new arrival - and I will always find time for a beer or two...

Cheers

What's your favorite beer, @holbein81? I don't like the taste of beer, myself, but my husband loves to sample new beers, and he's an excellent cook.
Cheers!
@mitneb

I don't have a favourite beer. I like to try local beers when I am travelling anywhere, and just generally like to try ones I haven't had before. Generally I buy and drink what is available...

Cheers

He does the same thing to try out new beer, @holbein81! I always get some special new ones for his Christmas stocking. Have you tried Lump of Coal? It's one of his favorite dark beers. Seasonal, and available now unless it's already sold out.
Cheers!
@mitneb

that steak looks good and I had many of those beers on my stopovers to NZ, on a nice hot day by the pool these beers go down so nicely

Yep, definitely agree those beers would be great on a hot day!!
The steak was great, need to do some more grilling!

Yes I doubt I will do any grilling till after winter now

It’s a year round sport!!

i guess that it is I am a bit slack in the winter months

Congratulations on having a baby. That steak looks delicious.

Thanks!!

The baby is a bit more momentous than the steak - although I am quite proud of how both turned out...

Cheers

Many many hearty congrajulations my friend for being a proud father. I am sure you are currently on top of the world :-) . The steak looks awesome. Please share it with all of us :-). Stay blessed always.
Warm Regards Nainaz

Hi Nainaz, thanks for swinging by and commenting. So far it's going great - and nice to be able to find time to write a post as well

Cheers

The first 12-16 weeks seem to be the roughest with a new baby, then things get a little better when they sleep through the night. I have 3 of them all under 5years. They are joy and sometimes a pain at the same time. 😂
I gotta remember to get in on beer Saturday 🍺!
Your speaking my language buddy! Beer and Grilling!

Wow, three under 5 must be interesting!! So far I would say ours is definitely a joy...

I love grilling. And I love beer. And I love both of them together!!

Cheers

Beer sounds good,so does the meat, but I need some veggies on that grill!

I think there should some sort of polar bear club for guys who grill in -20 degree weather. I've seen the gleam in a man's eye when talking about the joys of freezing you ass off while cooking outdoors... .

The good thing with slower cooking is you can leave it alone for a while and warm up inside
In summer I love corn on the grill!

Cheers

Mmm both the beer and the meat look delicious! Cheers man :)

Cheers indeed 🍺

Congrats on the baby.

Wonderful 🌹

wow! i love it.

Came water in my mouth :)
