Admittedly they are reasonably rare in Australia too, but in Good Beer Week, they know people want to taste as many different beers as possible so most of the GBW bars offer them for this week only (not sure where the actual paddles and glasses go the rest of the year) - Maybe I'll start a bar called paddles.
