One of the perks of being a musician is getting free beer. I get to drink a variety of really great beer, a lot of it made right here in Minnesota. One of my latest discoveries is "Crazy Aunt" by Insight Brewing.
I first got to taste Crazy Aunt at the Sea Salt Eatery at Minnehaha Falls where I play acoustic blues at once a week.
It is a golden gin and tonic style ale made with Juniper, coriander, lime juice and tonic water. It tastes pretty good when your outside in the beautiful scenic park. And also at home. I really enjoy its herbed/spice flavor.
So I would say overall a couple pints of Crazy Aunt outside while playing music is more than a pretty good deal.
Cheers!
Anything with Juniper makes me nervous, I had a "bacon" beer in Denver a couple years back that had Juniper, worst beer I have ever had...but this sounds like it would be much lighter and less smoky than that beer.
Jolly Good ! I hope to run into you someday at the park. Are you playing The Sea Salt Eatery on certain days / times ?
My next dates there are June 23rd and June 28th, 5 to 7 PM. You can always check my schedule at www.mattyetter.com See you in the park.
Thanks! I will calendar those dates, and check your website : -)
Hey, that's a cool story and it looks like a cool beer. Steem on and enjoy #BeerSaturday
Awesome post. Got some travel photos in there as well. I'm a fan of gin and beer, so I will be looking for this at World of Beer!
That is funny!
