Today we sat down at Fenix Food Factory in Rotterdam to celebrate my cousin's birthday. It was a cosy and small get together but obviously bathed in excellent beers since we were at Kaapse brewery.
I was taking it easy, so I only had 3 half pints of 10%+ stouts, followed by one IPA at the end. One of the stouts was pretty gross to me since it tasted like drop (anis) and I really do not enjoy that. Still I finished it cause beer is beer after all.
During the get together we were entertained by live jazz, which was pretty awesome.
My girlfriend and fiancé @camillagomes joined me and our friends, including @exyle, his girlfriend @bkdbkd, @brunameira and @amandatxera. It was a lot of fun, I simply love this place.
Kaapse also brought back memories of my last time there when I did a review on 4 barrel aged beers from De Molen, and just like time, the collection of BA beers at the Kaapse beer store is also changing, so tomorrow I decided to do one new round of 4 BA beers from De Molen, all different than last time. you need to check it out indeed, it's one of the best places to go in Rotterdam, especially if you love beer!
I heard that the jazz they are playing is live aswell maybe Thats not at the beer place but we are going There for sure
