welcome to the 78th edition of the German Beer of The Day series. Today I present you a Steinbier beer from Frankonia, the Leikheim Steinbier brewed by Brauhaus Altenkunstadt brewery in north Bavaria.

The Beer
The beer Leikheim Steinbier is an Steinbier. Steinbier (stone beer) is brewed with one of the oldest brewing methods. The brewer adds glowing hot stones to heat the beer wort.
