Perception is different for everyone. Some look negatively because they are jealous....some look in a positive manner because they are genuinely a nice person and compliment others and so on.
It is classy and even politically correct to compliment people. But do we really mean it? Few do and even fewer mean it when they compliment another. Some are saying it just because they know you worked hard to look beautiful. Few are taught that a classy individual should know to appreciate that.
Forget this shit.
You have the opportunity to find your own definition of the beauty. Be confident enough to embrace your qualities.
