Before our society tore us apart

I look at my wristwatch once again, it’s been two hours now and no signs of her. I pick up my phone to call her again but change my mind the next second. I had already called her twice between the last thirty minutes. Her responses were affirmative: she was on her way.

It’s been another thirty minutes. I stood up from where I was seated, walked to the counter to order a take home ice cream when the door to the entrance slide open and there she was.

I stared at her so stunned by her beauty. I had seen her before, once physically other times on social media. But she looks different today. Could it be the way she walks? So simple and elegant like she was born with it. But I am not going to let my pleasurable surprise ruin my date, so I snapped out of my thoughts and ushered her to the table smiling.
The evening was pleasant, we talked about good memories, jokes and laughter. I knew we had clicked at a point but I had to make it official. So I asked her out and she said yes.

We were amazing together. Our body and soul were intertwined. Like fireworks, we exploded in a million sparkles and making the world want to have what had.
