Facial Night: Brightening and Soothing

Facial Night: Brightening & Soothing

I feel like it has been forever since I have posted a facial night post or even done a proper facial night. My skin was crazy right before delivery and I just haven't had the time after but the other night I had a free hour. Lately, my skin has felt dry, dull, irritated and raw. I wanted to help clear up all of it with as few steps as possible. Here is what I did.

Step 1: Cream Cleanser -- This one by Venofye (see full review) is like silk and really leaves my skin feeling soft and clean. It also is super easy and quick to use so if you don't have a lot of time it is perfect.

Step 2: Facial Mist -- June Jacobs Neroli mist is hydrating and soothing.

Step 3: Mask -- Bliss Mighty Marshmallow Mask This is a new mask from Bliss. I like how easy it is to use and the results are instant. The mask helps with radiance by unclogging pores and brightening uneven spots.

Step 4: Serum -- Sunday Riley CEO Vitamin C Serum I haven't found many Vitamin C serums that don't break me out. This one doesn't. Nothing really brightens, firms and overall boosts the appearance of the skin like vitamin C so I was happy to find this one.

Step 5: Face Oil -- Trilogy Face oil is must if you are looking for more radiant skin. People think that face oil is just going to break them out but it actually helps regulate sebum production. Just be sure to pick one that is right for your skin type. I have combination skin that runs towards the dry side with tiny pores so this one from Trilogy works well for me. Rosehips are great for anti-aging, inflammation and nourishing the skin.

Step 6: Face Cream -- AVYA Day Cream c/o Since I did my facial during daylight hours I finished with this day cream with SPF 20. Even though I don't leave the house much right now I always keep my skin protected. For a night solution, I recommend ELEMIS Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil
