The first question a person asks me when they have just met me is 'Are you a model?' Sometimes I want to say No, and sometimes I want to say, Yes. It depends on the situation.

Modelling in my country is quite hard. It is not as if the opportunities are not there but it is the fact that you can not make a viable career out of it. In fact, if you decide you want to live in Nigeria, you have to be prepared to put your hands into different things to earn income.

I love everything about modelling. I meet new people, I wear fancy clothes and take really cute pictures. I also make use of my really long legs since I can not play any sport.LOL

As the years go by, I some times get worried that I might not have the chance to model again but who says if you are 60 you can not pursue your dream and still slay the runway. I push all those thoughts from my head and focus my mind on all I love and all that I want to achieve.

I am paid crumbs most of the time, but some days are good and I can earn enough to cater for my needs for the month.
I always thank God for Steemit. It has helped my life tremendously. I haven't made much but what I have made is such a blessing.

Yesterday, I read @stellabelle's steem story on Medium. It was so inspiring. I believe a lot of people can relate to her true life experience from grass to grace.

I am still a model, I have a job coming up soon and if it is possible, I might do a vlog so you can see how things are done in Nigeria. I do not know if I would walk for Victoria Secrets or Alexander Wang one day, but I am happy that I have experienced the modelling world and I would have something to tell my children one day.
