Yes, they sing such soulful songs! The parents aren't the sharpest tools in the shed based on my experience with where they decide to nest and raise their family each year. We've had them nest in flower pots and baskets directly in the path where the dog and human traffic enters/exits many times a day. The doves seem to think they have superpowers to make themselves go invisible. Their babies are fugly when they first hatch but almost overnight turn into the cutest little spotted fledglings!
