Hi everyone here we are for another beautiful Sunday this Sunday i found myself in Koh Samui which is one of the famous islands known by tourist all round the world. Koh Samui is the second largest island in Thailand it lies in the Gulf of Thailand.
I was actually in Koh Samui last week also for some business meetings and i was no longer back in Bangkok and i was called back to Koh Samui again only this time i was to be staying on this paradise island for a little longer who was i to complain. So it was back to the airport eary morning and onto the plane then on the boat across the Gulf of Thailand to the island.
About half way across the Gulf of Thailand the weather was starting to change for the worst the we had left the blue skies on the mainland and were approaching storm clouds as we were getting closer to the island.
Oh we had a free loader on board to..... how cute.
Well unfortunately it wasn't blue skies like last week when i was here but i wasn't going to let that stop me from doing what i come here to do. On this island you still a warm relaxing feeling even though it rains just been away from the hustle and bustle of the big city gives you that relaxed atmosphere. Of the boat and heading to the main beach hotel resort area.
We arrived at the resort called the Sala Samui Chaweng Beach this resort hotel has just not long ago been completed so it was all still smelling fresh and again right on the beach front couldn't have been a better spot for a meeting to take place.
Massage bamboo beds out front of the resort free for resort guests.
Sala Samui Cocktail Bar very nicely done.
The morning had started of quite gray and drizzly but as it got to mid-day i could see the sun breaking through and some patches of blue skies perfect , the meeting was over for the day so i decided to take advantage of the sunburst and go out for a walk along the beach front the forecast was for more rain to come.
This was pretty neat some millionaire had his own private villa right on the beach front prime land.
And a crazy twisted up tree right out front of his villa acting as a wind breaker.
Up this end of the island are more luxury resorts or villas were the more wealthiest holidaymakers stay i had never really had the time to look around these luxury resorts or villas but today i have a few free hours up my sleeve so lets go for a tour around.
I just wanted to dive straight into this blue crystal water pool.
This resort was amazing it had little man made rivers running through the grounds of this resort with fishes that could swim right around the resort ending up back into there main pond area again.
The gardens were so lush and green and very well manicured it was like been in a rain forest peace tranquility.
Front the beach front i walked all the way to the front of this resort i needed to know the name of this stunning place for future reference it was called the "Muang Samui" would definitely want to stay here some day.
And not much further down i came across another similar resort also very lush and green looking like a rainforest with beautiful gardens.
This resort also had little man made ponds with beautiful koi fishes but no little rivers running around the resort but lovely wooden bridges built across the ponds and sitting areas.
Reading rooms were even comfortable and stylish.
Love the way they had these large pots filled with water and just petals of flower floating on the top just out front of the rooms one on either side of your door how romantic and lovely.
The reception area is looking very Christmasy , well i hope you enjoyed coming along with me to these exclusive resorts they are definitely breathtaking and there are many more like this on Koh Samui island truly a beautiful paradise to visit and stay a few nights.
Thank you @ace108 for hosting #beautifulsunday and thank you @c0ff33a for hosting #SublimeSunday.

This is the place I should plan to visit.
Scrawny little kitten there.
I thought a saw a dolphin in this one.
Then again... maybe, more like a tapir.
Thank @ace108 it is a island that you don't want to leave so beautiful and lots to do on this island.
I would say it looks like a dolphin...yeah :)
That Beatiful this island, a vegetable paradise to enjoy, I loved all the images, I hope you bring many more #sublimesunday like this.

What a wonderful place! My father was able to spend three months there in 2005 and said it was the most beautiful place. I hope to visit this amazing place someday; you make me want to visit sooner.
Thanks so much for a beautiful post.

Thank you @xcountytravelers i might have seen your father there i discovered this island back in 1999 and i am still going there now and then and it just keeps getting better i hope that one day you also will get to see this beautiful paradise :)
Dad was doing missionary work. He said it was amazing.
Oh really that would of been a amazing experience interacting with many beautiful people and kids :)
He was telling me a story where a man on a bike came into the school yard with a freezer full of ice cream. Only a couple of kids met the man.
Dad asked why the other kids weren't joining in. He was told it was because they didn't have rhe money from their "host" family for it.
Dad said he walked up to the man as asked how much for the whole freezer of ice cream treats. The man told him and Dad paid it and gave him a little extra.
At that point they called him Phokhi Bob! Hahaha

And feels so good to be able to do that what a sweet story when i use to go to Cambodia for my visa runs and as you know Cambodia has a lot more poverty i use to take all my Thai coins with me and share them amongst the kids they use to wait for me to come every month god bless them :)
It is amazing the impact we can have with just a simple gesture. I know that a smile can do wonders. These countries that have so much less teach us so much about humanity, don't they.

Thank you Sir :)
You have so many wonderful photos here I don't even know which one is my favorite. Not that I want to, but my mind has compared your weather with what we have here and .... there's a little difference between the two :D
Thank you my friend it is always a pleasure to hear from you. This island is a beautiful paradise but the weather this time i was there was wet but it is monsoon period here at the moment so we get them storms but still warm air not like it is over there at the moment. Keep warm my friend and have a lovely Christmas :)
Another photo filled magical journey, not only are you are an incredible photographer but you take so many - every post I see of yours is so photo packed it's like an education in a post.
Favourites are the pool and the Coi Carp - but honestly you take such amazing photos and I love the journey you take us on every week - you live in such a beautiful part of the world and I love you sharing it with us.
