BeachWednesday: Charagato Bay, Cubagua Island - Caribbean Sea / Bahía de Charagato, Isla de Cubagua – Mar Caribe.

Good thing today is #BeachWednesday, because I can share this relaxing image with you.

Cubagua is a small island that has the honor of having been recognized as the first populated city of Venezuela. We are talking about the year 1517, when it was then called Nueva Cádiz. It became prosperous because for a long time oysters with pearls were removed in front of them, until gradually it stopped being made and its inhabitants abandoned it. Today, its beaches are almost virgin, crystalline and with white sands. The photograph was taken from the bay of Charagato, and the ferry Santa Ana is observed, which burned and sunk in 1980, and today is a paradise for divers, since inside it formed a kind of coral reef that houses a marine fauna and flora of great interest. In the background you can see the silhouette of the Margarita Island, also called La Perla del Caribe, from where I write this publication

Santa Ana must be a really neat site to dive! Nice article!

@chicagochicago, thanks for passing. I'm glad you liked the publication. The sunken ship Santa Ana is a paradise to dive, there you can really see a beautiful landscape. Best regards.

Wow ! It seems like an awesome place to be! Thanks for sharing this at our beloved BeachWednesday. Big Upvote for that!

I'm glad you liked @lizanomadsoul, this little island is ideal for diving, and although it does not have any kind of services, there are some tour operators that take tourists there. I will take into account the label of my next publication. Best regards.

Friend Dan, Thanks for coming and supporting my work. Best regards.
