"As young as you are, travel and explore how world really looks like. Do not stay in one place without trying new things. Life is genuinely beautiful and full of wonders. Wherever you go and whoever you meet, always be perceptive and try to look at things at different angles."
These are the exact words that my senior at work gave to me when I was just about to start my journey in our company. From then on, I could no longer forget him and his words of wisdom. He is indeed a very clever man that I desire to become in the future. I took that advice and kept in the deepest part of my heart. That is the reason why I decided to push through the beach trip with my family. Well, I've been planning for that trip already two months before and I've already saved a money for it. However, as the time got nearer and nearer, I am starting to developed hesitations. God permits, and so, we were able to have that family bonding that we are all anticipating.
I scheduled the bonding on July 30-31 and when the 29th day of the July month's came, the rest of the pack stayed and slept in our house to avoid waiting for each other in the morning.
We rented a car actually and it was my boyfriend who drove it. We intend to leave at 4 am in the morning but ended up living at 6:45 am. I already have a hint that we will be queuing in the Sasa Wharf port for 3 hours. And yeah, I was totally right. The car was able to enter the ferry.
To cut our suffering short, we spent 6 hours before we arrived at the beach. It was a very long and tiring experienced but seeing the beach after the waiting made me forgot about the exhaustion that I've felt.
In fact, right after we checked-in in our room, I went immediately to the beach and soak myself with the cold and crystal clear water while rubbing the fine whitesand in my feet.
"I deserved this"
Those were the exact words that came out from my mouth after I immersed my body in the salty water under the scorching heat of the sun. However, I quickly left the water when I realized that I still need to help them prepare our foods for the dinner.
We just let the kids play in the beach while the adults were so busy preparing for the food and room. We finished everything at 4 and decided to individually explore the beach and return to the room at exactly 6 pm for the dinner.
Together with my boyfriend and cat, we explore the beach and met new fellas. I just failed to take photos since I forgot to bring my phone that time.
We only had chicken barbeque, buttered shrimp and grilled milkfish for the dinner. We were having such a great time while eating under the shining and big moon.
Glad to see you have good time bonding with your family at the beach. Vacations are nice to do once in a while to unwind and build stronger relationships with our family. If you got the time and money, better take advantage of it while you can.
I agree with you sissy
Only DF! That is a feast and made me hungry!
What a beautiful time you had:)
Well, I am craving for pork barbeque that time DF hahaha. But the island forbids us to bring pork meat to the island.
hehe a pork bbq oh you little 🐷 hehe well next time maybe you can go somewhere and have it ;)
You definitely enjoyed your trip with your family on the beach. I can sense it, the way you smile in those pictures. And yes, you really deserved it.
I really did enjoy it sis
This is what I always say to myself too, most especially when devouring food. LOL
