On Thursday evening we had a little celebration for my good news at the hospital. We celebrated at the Shinfield Arms and had a lot of food, this bucket of chips went down a storm and don’t worry was shared!
Work was full of good news too as we launched our new product for Technical Compliance, that will help Gambling establishments around the world ensure their hardware is legal. The bosses are happy and the company has seen an upturn in revenue as a result. Thanks to us guys on team. Feels like a turning point and that the team will now grow, meaning, well, hopefully promotions and stuff.
In music. I has been good too. Making some great new friends in the ModCaf people and the other night we hosted Gareth for the evening and helped him het his head around some technical matters with an Akai keyboard. Turned into a bit of a jam session and my wife thought it was a lot of fun too. We shall do more of this, I’ll happily invite them all over for food and festivities.
Not so long ago I began uploading music to WavLake as an experimental thing and its paying off in small ways but it’s a start.
Even better one of my tracks was festured in a podcast mix this week via WavLake and I listened to this on Fountain.
Earning sats is fun.
How is Hive doing though? Slow of late don’t you think? Still in the game though. Keep on stacking!
That all sounds good, but Hive does have some issues. I will be running the Britlist today and we will see if people are still active. I treat Hive as my main social media, so it is fun anyway.

BTW It's crazy when a £4 pint is seen as a bargain. It was about 60p when I was a student, but that shows my age :)

I’m still very much a Hive supporter and from my point of view it’s UI and backend for blogging is one of the better ones out there. Engagement isn’t bad, could be better but it’s already better than the mainstream.
