I watched today, Arcange give his presentations at HiveFest.

I was moved.

To make a long story short, as I got something to put below. I know about bulling. I was born with a cleft lip. I was bullied most of my life. My late wife helped fix me. But that is another story. I am good now.

But Arcange, thank you so much for putting yourself on display, and telling the Hive world, giving the Hive world a kick in the ass they needed.

So I just spent the last 2 hours rewatching his presentation at HiveFest. And I transcribed it as been as I could, with some screen shots. I hope you get as motivated and inspired as I did.

So what's new? Everybody came to me asking what's the them of your presentation and which new project will you introduce to us this year and the slide will stay as is because I have nothing new to present to you today and I will explain why.

On Feb this year my infastructure got hacked by a ransomware when I woke up everything was encrypted and I could not access the Wall Storage was encrypted but the backups were encrypted too so everything was wiped out. It was my own 911 so it was hard time because the first thing you have to do when you face such a situation is to cut yourself from your emotions to act professionally to spend time for assessment and evaluation that's a difficult part because everyone is screaming out there I couldn't imagine how many apps where relying on Hive sequel for example I could not imagine that so many users wanted to see their hive ranking their progress or asking me why don't I get notifications.

It took seven days it's really long because I contacted the computer crime unit. So I had to wait for them too, it's really hard then you have to set priorities and stick to the plan. Even if someone is coming to you and saying hey hey hey hey, I need that absolutely right now, no no no no, you need to stick to the plan. Then you have to rebuild and and improve for that it not happen again.

You don't do that without effect on yourself. I've been working for one month to rebuild everything I did for eight years. And when I say one month it was days and nights and really days and nights. I had to set up alarms to wake me up every hour to monitor the recovery process or to launch a new task when the previous one was finished.

I get out of that really destroyed my body. For a month I do physiotherapy. And it's only now that I feel better a bit better.

On top of that I had to endure slander and personal attacks against me and my work. Words can be calm but they can also be poison. And the poison started to spread. And negativity and useless criticism started to stack up.

This led to de-motivation for me and I had to step back, away from my computer to take care of me and working for I was not fun anymore. To be honest I was that close to leave Hive and even not to come here today. But that's not want I want to do.

I need to learn to stop focusing on negativity and to rely on what's positive. On Hive we have some awesome developers, we have an awesome community with so many friendly people that support you. And to use that and all the good comments I receive to move again to my main values. Which are, which is, helping others. And being positive and bring something nice to everyone.

The best thing to do that is to take a break, get on your motorbike and come here.

Why am I standing hee today, you know it's not about me, uh, I think I'm not alone and my storm may resonate to you. As on Hive or in real life I like to say that Hive is a digital transposition or the real world. That we are the same people, the real life doesn't exist, we are living our life on Hive. And you know in real life we cope with harassment with toxic behavior. We should also do that on Hive.

I've been silent for long because I've been told that you need there is a moto: Don't feed the troll. The problem is that doing that is I've been silent when seeing aggressive behavior, I've been silent when I've been seeing harrasment. And I would like to change that.

So here is what I'm willing to do but I won't be able to do it alone. I would like that we promote constructivism versus criticism. You know sometimes just saying to people: oh you was..., I don't like what you do or whatever. Constructivish is when you bring at least an alternative, at best a solution and you do it by yourself.

I'm used to helping others. But I need to learn to seek for help. I would like you to encourage and support those who are working. We have seen some great presentations. There are people that are working hard for you to be able to have fun, to play games, to enjoy, to make events like like this (HiveFest) we need your support.

And we need not to stay silent like I did and we need to respond to that for it to change. Because if we all stay silent it won't change. That's why I'm standing here today in front of you being vulnerable. When the trolls stay hidden behind their trees.

I will add an additional answer to the survey I did at the very beginning of my presentation. I think I went here to start a new journey to towards more positivity on Hive and that's what I will do right now with you.

BPUD - THE BBH PROJECT TRIBE POWER UP DAY

The BBHO power up day is going to be the 20th of every month. The same as Cent is on the 10th and Leo for LPUD is on the 15th. Requirments will be only 100 BBHO to power up. And a blog post telling everyone you have powered up. Including my username and the BPUD and BBH tags. Below you will see a pic of a hat, that will be one prize.

DRIP DAY

Saturdays are Drip Day. That means it is/was drip day. Now if you are not a regular reader of mine you are wondering what is drip day.

I run a income token and tipping bot all in one. The token is BBH. Every Saturday I payout the people holding BBH tokens. Passive income if you like. I like to call it a 'drip' of a token(s) to the people that own BBH tokens. And unlike some all you have to do is own it. No staking, no nothing.

If you own 10 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive. If you own 5,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive and the Alive token, and CTP Tokens. If you own 10,000 or more BBH tokens you got a drip of swap.hive, Alive, CTP, and $LEO tokens.

All just for owning BBH. There are two ways you can get BBH. First you can buy them from the open market. I use TribalDex myself.

Or they can be tipped to you. The great part about BBH tipping is that when you tip a token to someone else you do not loose any of your own. There is a central pool that supplies them.

And a third way to get BBH would be people gift them to you. There was an update to the tipping bot. If you now tip 1 BBH you get 1 BBH also. How facking awesome is that.

In a 24 hour period, reset at new day UTC. There are currently five levels of tipping.

Level 1 = 1000 BBH holdings = 1 tip per day you can send
Level 2 = 5000 BBH holdings = 5 tips per day you can send
Level 3 = 20000 BBH holdings = 20 tips per day you can send
Level 4 = 50000 BBH holdings = 50 tips per day you can send
Level 5 = 100,000 BBH holdings = 100 tips per day you can send
