Chinese researchers have been able to make a real breakthrough in the technology of mobile phones after announcing the latest phone batteries, which are fully charged in 1.1 seconds.

A research team from the Zhejiang University of China designed a kind of batteries using graphene chips as positive electrodes and metal aluminum as negative electrodes, which can function effectively after a quarter of a million cycles to be shipped in seconds.

The new battery keeps 91 percent of the load capacity after 250,000 charging, surpassing the capacity of all previous batteries by the battery life, and can be fully charged in just 1.1 seconds, the researchers said.

The real problem with this type of supercharged battery is its inability to compete in the market because of the high cost of production compared to the batteries currently traded in the market.
