About:

BAT is the currency created as the co-feature (or maybe even the main feature?) of the new web browser – Brave https://brave.com/. As the creators state, it’s general function is to allow the users of Brave to pay for ads on this new platform.

And we should pay attention to any statement that it’s creators state, because they’re not a bunch of part-time geeks.

The creators of BAT are literally the same men, who created JavaScript, Mozilla and it’s Firefox. They know, what the on-line business is about and their experience may be the key factor for the future of the whole project.
35 000 000 $ raised in less than 30 seconds – that’s the value of experience.

Why yes:
Does the world need a new web browser – yes, just how it needs new social media, which we are lucky to colonise. Hello #steemit

Why not:
Let me repeat: Does the world really need a new web browser – which is already just a kind of beta?

You're amazing! Nice share! xoxo

Question: why on earth would a user want to pay for ads in their browser? Maybe it's a payment to block the ad?

Just like some companies pay for their ads on facebook. Or maybe it's gonna work both ways?

Yeah, for advertisers it makes sense. The ads get them customers or help create a brand image. But for consumers? What do they get in return after paying for an ad?

some nice browser i think

Thanks for this information, do you think this have big potential in long term to win with huge corps?

Can't give you a clear answer, but it's foundations seem to be pretty solid
