Drop Your Filthiest Dubstep / Drumstep / DnB / House in the Comments Section, Win Long Long Uptucks!

A life hack to happiness for this particular oddball STEEM network dweller and witness is high volume, heavily modulated sine waves... Most fun you can have with your clothes on!

The rest of the world calls this "Bass"... Some call it "Wubz", others refer to it as "The Boom"... When these lovely sine curves are passed through an amplifier and a sufficiently large enough subwoofer it produces a bliss far greater than any narcotic or drink can possibly provide to my central nervous system. Feeling my very being vibrate at the 40hz-120hz range ranks right up there with orgasms and good herbs in my books!

At one point roughly half a decade ago I was a semi-successful DJ that ran with the crew responsible for the underground dance/rave scene here in town.. Nothing like partying for a living! But alas the classic "big fish in a small pond" scenario caught up with me n the crew and as fast as the music success came.. the local police department started crawling up our asses, demanding we purchase various permits and inform/allow them at our shows.. Given the profit margins back then on music shows that was enough to run us into a deficit and the shows stopped, with it the underground music scene laying dormant... Until about 8 months ago!

A new underground music scene has sprung up with a new production company here locally.. Luckily for me the stories and legend of shows past are still very much being told.. and with that I've set out to start mixing music again as a hobby in hopes of once again showcasing my own music as well as others for a crowd eager to hear it. Unfortunately the music collection I've got is anywhere from 5 to 60 years old.. Hardly the new sounds and style the kids of today wish to rock out to. Asking the network's bass heads to share their favourites so I may rinse them out in the near future for the folks here in central Canada.

Now before the purist DJ's de-scrotum me for using a midi controller... I run a mixture of midi, time code vinyl and classic vinyl records when I mix. Any idiot can mix digital audio with the modern software n it's various sync cheats and hacks.. Hell, Everyone is a DJ really until you stick them in front of actual turntables and records. Tis what separates the men from boys in this circle. Here is a picture of my current setup.

(Note I'm currently replacing my Stanton T62 head/needle as I broke it moving)

Well fuck! This is you? Hell man. Your production value is very high quality.

Strange sound engineering, certainly not abrasive or shrill on the ears though.
Thanks for the share and the free download. You have a new follower.

What are you using for this composition? Mix is tight.

Maan... Thanks a bunch for kind words! I use Studio one V3. Most of synths are made in Sylenth1 and Dune2 Plugins. Do you also produce music?

DAMN SON. That first soundcloud track took me right off guard.

Was all like "What is this fluffy shit?" then the drop came and I almost sharted me britches with filth. Good one!

People do dig the older dubstep too.. Most of my collection is that.. But the new sound seems to be what gets most the folks around here moving these days. Apprecaite the share man!

Had the same feeling about the first track. Was with my girlfriend chilling on the bed droped her out of the bed and rushed to save the song. And yeah althought new dubstep is a bit more hardcore the old one's are better to chill off with

To this day most brutal dubstep Ive heard!
EXCISION - X Rated ft Messinian

Thats dubstep btw

Updated, and now I feel like a noob :D

No worries excision is always weird :D

Thanks for sharing man. Certainly have your own style going on here. How long you been producing and what is your DAW of choice?

Thanks you :)
I started producing about a year ago. First I used Ipad.. All the beats from my "Originals Instrumental Series" where produced on the light version of GarageBand :D But kinda reached the limit of possibilities so I've been looking for some desktop applications. And i fell in love with Ableton Live :D
This Instrumental is the third one I've created with Ableton :)

At around 3mins this track just send tingles down my spine if you got headphones that kick. Gets real hypnotic.

Way different flavor but I like this track for the kick. And eminem:

Where the fuck are my glow sticks!?!

Very Hardstyle, Such BOOM. Very nice.

Also the most odd off tune audio compared to drone I have ever heard.

Very healthy low end on this one! damn.

Not much of a 4/4 guy but this has Bass like crazy in the intro.
The drop was somewhat less than I was expecting but still a catchy rythm overall.

It's what you play and how you play it, not what you play it on! Big up your scene...!

True that! I started out on a laptop with Traktor.. Love the vinyl / time vinyl setups though.

Carnage - Tomahawk

Nicee post my friend ;)

always gets my vote - but sadly all the bass gets washed out on Youtub. Try checking Spotify maybe?
