Lebron James for MVP

in #basketball7 years ago

This is a season in which prohibitive MVP favorite James Harden has done phenomenal things with NBA-leading Houston, reigning MVP Russell Westbrook has been fantastic again for Oklahoma City, and Anthony Davis has found a new stratosphere to take his game, especially after New Orleans lost DeMarcus Cousins.

LeBron changed the game as a basketball prodigy
'The Chosen One' lived up to the hype like no basketball star before him, and there still hasn't been anyone quite like him since.

Which MVP candidate is responsible for the most wins?
James Harden appears likely to win the NBA's MVP award, but there is no shortage of worthy challengers behind him. Assessing how much each contender has impacted team wins might be the best place to start when making comparisons.

James raves about them all. But ...

"I would vote for me," James told The Associated Press. "The body of work, how I'm doing it, what's been happening with our team all year long, how we've got so many injuries and things of that nature, guys in and out, to be able to still keep this thing afloat, I definitely would vote me."

And James Harden

Ask any NBA fan who the best player in basketball is and most will say Lebron. A few will say KD and fewer yet will say Harden. The debate then becomes best player vs best narrative for the season. Last year Westbrook had the triple double narrative. This year Harden is leading a team to a better record than the warriors while putting up great stats. To me, Lebron is more valuable but narrative usually wins out.

Yeah it just comes down to who has the better team. Right now James Harden has a better team in the regular season.

DeMar DeRozan will not win MVP but he sure has been the Raptors MVP and they are having a very good season. He should get some votes but I think this will be Hardens year.

Dem ar derozan is freaking good haha
