After eliminating crosstown rivals Espanyol and learning they’ll face Valencia in the Copa del Rey semi-finals, Barcelona must turn their attention back to La Liga this weekend for what could be a tough one against the rivals from last year’s Cup Final: Deportivo Alavés come to Camp Nou in a tough run of form and very much part of a relegation battle, but they’re a good defensive team who can cause problems.
But we could see a double debut on Sunday night! Yerry Mina and Philippe Coutinho are likely to start for the first time in a Barcelona shirt against Alavés, and they might play important parts in Barça winning this one. Let’s wait and see.
