1. SPAWN – The professionals

@davenavarro wrote about @spawnband

One of my first memories regarding to music, come from my brother's bedroom closed door, from here sometimes I could hear the first music that had any meaning or at least began to have meaning at that young age, I remember clearly a band and a song that I use to listen to from my room while he had is door close with music pumping up at a high volume. This song started slow like a soft tropical music never heard before (...reggae and I didnt know at the time)...and a bass....oh man what a bass (from this bassline started the love to this instrument and I love to base most of my tracks nowdays in the basslines)... then like a thunderstorm some superfast rhythm began to develop with rapid vocals an it also had a fun fast rhythm (this was Ska and it was the first time I learned of the name and from a kind of music I will come to love).

2. Bands About Bands - The Turtle Project

@grizzle wrote about @theturtleproject

I like The Turtle Project. The Turtle has a gentle maturity to his songwriting. Blending mellow production with a light almost spoken touch to his vocals The Turtle conjures up a sound that is reminiscent of mellow Nick Cave...
See The Beauty for example, mellow piano, melodic guitar mirroring the vocal combined with minimal drums, overlaid with a Mellotron style strings creates a warming atmosphere...

3. D-VINE About Ed Privat

@d-vine wrote about @edprivat

I met Ed awhile ago, when we both admitted to stalking each other on #Steemit.
I was flabbergasted & very honored by his admittance.
Since then I got to know Ed closer & only grew to admire him more, as a musician / artist & as a human.
Ed is a very active musician & advocate for music here on Steemit!
I truly thank him for his loving care, support & dedication in this community, he is so very inspiring <3
Ed Privat is a singer & songwriter, originally from France, he went to school for audio engineering & produces his own songs.

4. "Ko-May The Jazz Pianist"

@allbums wrote about @ko-may

Shibata Ko-May @ko-may is a positive man and a very talented piano player. He started to play piano when he was at the 3rd grade. He listened music almost everytime at home because he states that his mother was a hairdresser and doing her job at home that's why there was music all the time for him. For three years he studied piano and his special skill was playing a flute while playing the piano. When he started to high school he had big crush for Rock Music but those times rock music was considered as bad music. He was dying to have a drums but he couldn't convince his family to get one and worse; got prohibited from rock "bad" music by his parents. While in college he wanted to be a part of the music section cause he thought he could play drums and guitar as much as he wants but the orchestra chief wanted him to play piano aaaaaaaand he became a jazz pianist there. He didn't know anything about jazz back then so he started from scratch.

5. Dial Tone Takes You on a Tour of Tulsa With His New Single “Everyday in Tulsa”

@ando79 wrote about @tonesbeach

To an outsider Tulsa is just another city in another small market. But what they don’t know is that they have experienced Tulsa more than they think. They’ve experienced the sound of Tulsa. Locked within the bounce and feel of the West Coast sound from funk to rap is the true essence and sound of Tulsa. From the Gap Band who brought to life the bombing of Black Wallstreet on their popular song “You Dropped A Bomb On Me.” To the Daz Dillinger production that has been linked to the many hits of the Death Row Era. Tulsa has created a classic sound that resonates with the music credited as West Coast. Dial Tone is looking to bring this same sound and feel back while showing listeners around with his single "Everyday in Tulsa”.

6. Scale The Summit - Atlas Novus

@that.bass.guy wrote about #ScaleTheSummit

This song „Atlas Novus“ is the second song from the „The Migration“ album, and it's so well thought through, these guys really know how to set the outworldly atmosphere.
The guitar works that were done by Chris Letchford (lead guitar, 7 string) and Travis Levrier (rhythm guitar, 7 string) are just awesome. Chris Letchford uses such graceful and light technique but so professional and Travis has just awesome tapping parts. He's one of the most creative rhythm guitarists I've heard s far.
Drums were done by Pat Skeffington and he really knows how to support the melody of the song with his percussion. He plays so chill and so powerful at the same time. Just awesome.

Hi all as a writer of one of the articles i cant vote myself.....otherwise i would...just kidding ;D, well as i read the rest of the articles, i cant help it but the one for Ed Privat is my choice, not only because the article highlights great characteristics of the artist and it is also very explanatory, but also because as i have been listening to Ed Privat in dsound i can just agree and relate to the writer as Ed Privat music is out of this world is so talented that he deserves the price for that too, and now knowing more about his dedication for other people here in the platform is an extra point, these guys well deserve my vote, well done for the rest of participants i really enjoyed this as my first review writing and thank ftlob and the rest for reading and making this such an awesome initiative....
