Hello , steemit!
I was a bit away from steemit last months, because i was busy with one project. It was video commercial for one American coffee company. But budget was very tight, so i was using very simple camera - Canon 5D Mark 3. And our filming crew was also very small.
I was traveling around Laos , Vietnam and Thailand to get great footage about coffee plantations and how local life and culture looks like.
This post will be about filming in Laos.
It was hard trip, because schedule was very tough. We were moving from different cities every second day. We took a lot of local planes.
But because of this project I could see not touristic sights of the country. And to feel a bit how local people are living.
People were so friendly and kind. There were a bit shy, but they let as inside, to see one day of them life.
I got opportunity to visit some local houses in Laos and to see how locals are growing coffee there, in them gardens.
Here is few coffee trees.
There is some houses in small village in Laos.
Here you can see small coffee plantation , and how people are harvesting coffee berries.
They have few types of spots to dry coffee beans after peeling. Some of them outdoor like this.
We recorded some interviews there.
And some of spots for drying are indoor, with small roof. It's protection against rain.
It was very hot there, because outside temperature was around +30. I was just melting during filming...
Here is process of peeling coffee berries .
I tried those berries. Was very tasty and sweet)
More i will share in my next post)
