Hi, when done properly 1 year. Trick with them is to refrigerate once they are done fermenting. When fermenting vege keep everything under the brine and you will be fine. But you have to keep an eye on them to make sure they do not get white webs that are the yeast. They are ok but it forms a layer out of the brine which mold could form.

Thanks for the info. We'll give this a try, especially hubby, he loves anything natural. :)
