Found this old settlers' cabin out on the prairie in western Montana one day while wandering around some long abandoned back roads.

This was literally out in the middle of nowhere. Truly a desolate and lonesome landscape. No other signs of human life (or animal for that matter) for miles, except for a road passing by.

Conjures up a lot of thought as to the type of people who would have wandered that far and what perils they must have encountered, or perhaps were trying to escape.
