So I'm five days in after my injection and not much has changed. Some news I got on Friday though not so good. The blood tests I had also showed I had an autoimmune disease, so I thought it'd be a good idea to talk to the doctor about a referral to a Rheumatologist before I start with any symptoms. So the doctor showed me my blood results which showed 3 autoimmune diseases I might have. 1 being Sjogren Syndrome, Lupus or another one the doctor didn't know. So me being me I decided to Google it when I got back to work. It was MCTD which is mixed connective tissue disease and looks to be pretty nasty and fatal within 6-12 years of onset of symptoms.
All my family can say is don't worry, it won't be that. But I know it will be that cos that is the luck I have! I'm 49, will I see 60? I know I shouldn't worry but I just can't help it.
I didn't expect to start this blog for it to end up being like this. I was going to give advice on Autism, PDA, selective mutism all the things I do on a daily basis but it might end up being cathartic for me at least.
Let's hope not, let's hope my luck will change and it'll be something treatable.
Anyway guys, thanks for reading and have a wonderful Christmas 🎄
