Which is your favourite car movie?

There are so many different car movies out there, ones with racing, action, street racing and films with elements of driving which are movies with a story e.g. The French Connection,Ronin.

Some of the most renown street racing movies are The Fast and Furious Franchise, starring the late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez, following a cop who infiltrates a group JDM street racers who run a crime ring.

The cars in F and F are immense from the Veilside RX7 through to the Spoon Honda Civics.

The question though, is do the new car films hold up to the classics like Monte Carlo or Bust and Bullitt? What's your favourite all time car movie? Name two if you need to.

The Cannonball Run with Burt Reynolds from 1981.

Amazing films both 1 and 2, the sound of the Countach at the beginning of both, gives me tingles.

Favourite car movie probably 2 Fast 2 Furious. My favourite car in a movie, probably the 1969 Ford Mustand Mach 1 in John Wick, isn't that an amazing muscle car :D

2 Fast and 2 Furious has some awesome machines from the muscle to the jdm, John Wick awesome, don't like the way it ends up in JW 2 🙁 ( in case you haven't seen it it's literally the first couple of minutes)

I'll say Senna was the greatest car movie.

Think I better watch that soon, looks very good.

I love the opening to The Italian Job but always cry. That Lambo is my all time favourite.

On the Alpine Pass? A Miura and E Type if memory serves, great film, that film reminds of Firefox, both awesome.

I'd probably have to go with The Fast and Furious movies as well ... but I also have to admit that I love the gorgeous cars in the James Bond movies, too. lol.

Yes Bond and the villains have some amazing cars, the Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me, and the Gordini Turbo.

Exactly!

those movies and these cars are great.. :) The French Connection starred some great actors.

Those car chases, and chasing the overground train were legendary, Gene Hackman 🏆

For me its definitely smokey and the bandit the first one. I drove me mother crazy haha. I watch it everyday after school for so many days that I cant count. I still know that movie by hart.

"Smokey and the Bandit" + "Cannonball Run" are classics.

The Fast and The Furious (1st of the series) is the best of the whole franchise (followed closely by Tokyo Drift, then 2 fast 2 furious).

i would say it is RUSH.
