From 0 to 100 km / h in two seconds: A Japanese electric car breaks the Tesla record
Aspark Owl will cost 4.4 million dollars, compared to 200,000 for a Tesla Roadster.
The Japanese carmaker Aspark has created the Aspark Owl model, an electric car capable of going from 0 to 60 miles per hour -96.56 kilometers per hour-in 1.9 seconds.
That car accelerates faster than most expensive high-end gasoline cars, such as Bugatti Chiron or Lamborghini Aventador and has broken the Tesla Model S electric vehicle record.
Last year, the car manufactured by Elon Musk's company became the fastest-growing mass-produced car in the world, reaching 100 kilometers per hour in less than 2.3 seconds.
Apark Owl, which in principle only 50 vehicles will be manufactured, will cost 4.4 million dollars, compared to 200,000 for a Tesla Roadster.
Although the Musk firm will not sell its model before 2020, Tesla already promises that it will achieve the same acceleration as its Japanese competitor.
