RE: Beached

First of all, those photos are incredibly stunning. You do have an eye for captivating sceneries. And a great ability to press the metaphorical shutter button of your phone!

A barbeque-esque gathering of Australian-branded Aussies celebrating their Australianness, and then, a walk to a very Australian beach... Legit might fall short. Wish you could do both this year and tell us all about it. But eh, that's life, maybe you can compensate for that missed barbeque some other day! Hereby I decree that every day shall be a good enough day for you to revel in the fact of being Australian, through a proper barbeque.

Australia Day breakfast; pancakes topped with blueberries, strawberries, cream, and lashings of maple syrup.

Doesn't get much better than that. Please do save me a seat!

Don't worry though, our sharks generally only go after tourists and they never attack on Australia Day. Much.

How very considerate of them! Guess I'd have to buy an Australian-branded wet suit, were I ever to visit Australia, so I can have a proper swim. That might trick them sharks into thinking I'm a local, right? Otherwise, I'm not getting near the water!

The plan is a mid-afternoon beach walk and maybe an ice cream also. I'll probably take my book and read a bit and then later I'm having fish and chips on the beach whilst watching the sun go down. I know, that probably sounds boring to most but to me it's legit. A relaxing day doing relaxing things.

This sounds extremely legit. Have a nice holiday and please do stay away from the darn screens haha

I'm not sure if an Australian wet suit will save you from shark attack but I'm connected. So, if you ever come down here and want to go into the ocean let me know and I'll make a few calls, pull some strings and make sure they leave you alone.
