I'm in the zone! I truly have a deluge of work online this week, which makes me happy as I find myself totally absorbed into other worlds. I also find listing online strangely calming, probably because I am so focused, some of my other problems fade into the background. Today I am going to share some beautiful Africana items, which basically means collectibles relating to Africa.
The Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe (was previously Rhodesia) is one of the true wonders of Africa! This painting has some issues with condition, but renders the magnificent Falls beautifully!
I have this popular collectible ex Union Of South Africa Presidents commemorative pocket knife listed for R390 ($29). In 1960 South Africa become the Republic Of South Africa.
A 1938 Pageant Programme in English and Afrikaans from the town my husband travels to every week to find our treasures!
We travel back to Zimbabwe with these souvenir dishes and mug, and then make a turn at South West Africa's famous Etosha National Park with the mug below.

I like the pen knife a lot. I've had a couple, but this one is in the best condition.
