That is an interesting idea, but that satellite has an awfully small aperture relative to its supposed purpose. You need a large aperture to bring in enough light to clearly see distant objects. By comparison, the aperture on the Hubble Space Telescope is 2.4 meters, 240x the size of the aperture on this device. Based on that, I don't think a satellite of this size would work for even objects in our own solar system, much less outside it.
