I was first introduced to the concept of Assets while using Burst. In the Burst wallet, you can add various assets found on their blog. Click this link to get an overview of the assets and what they offer. In the wallet, click the Asset Exchange, copy the Issuance TransactionID # of the asset you want, and then click the Add Asset button to copy the asset number there. The asset should appear on the left hand column in white. Click on the asset to be taken to an exchange. Here you can purchase the asset for different amounts of Burst. The more assets you own the more your pay outs in Burst will be. It is like a dividend payment for funding the asset project. The asset should appear in yellow once you own some of it. The Assets are in limited supply and do change in value. You can make money selling your assets, if the market commands a higher price for it. It is a great way to crowd source investors for different projects such as crypto mining operations. Burst makes it accessible for you to find funding for your projects with this feature.
I like these kinds of coins. Coins that have the expanded features such as Smart Contracts to carry out these actions on the Blockchain. The coins that provide the platform to carry out these Smart Contracts are what interest me. Investing in these coins seems to be a very safe bet, because they have all these other assets supporting their survival. Ethereum, Omni, Nxt, Counterparty, Waves, Bitshares, and Burst all support assets. I just formed a list of the platform along with their assets. This is not a complete list of assets, just the ones that are listed on coinmarketcap.com. It might be a good thing to go and check individually each asset's website to find out what they are about.

Very good post. Interesting to see I'm not the only one that is thinking about this. I strongly advice people to only buy in to cryptos that have a solid background: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors, etc. Sell all cryptos that don't have this solid background. It's a waiste of money. Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com They researched and analyzed every tradable coin out there.
Very good blog. Same thoughts here. I'm not sure if coins are that high risk. The quality coins are here to stay and it's like buying in at the S&P 500 50 years ago. Cryptos will fall and rise at a more rapit phase any investment market has ever seen. Just hold (literaly) and enjoy the ride. Does anyone know about: https://www.coincheckup.com They seem to give this complete indepth analysis of all cryptocoins. Check for example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Xaurum#analysis For a complete Xaurum Investment and research analysis.
