Steem is growing every day. So many people joining, so many that have stuck around for a very long time but also many who have left. Where most other blockchain's rely on their miners to do the heavy lifting and reward only those that either buy in or buy equipment to earn stake in it, here we reward users for their activity directly but also keep investors happy with curation rewards.
It feels like a lot of time has passed and that Steem has been alive for such a long time if you've been here daily from the very beginning. It's difficult to grasp that the blockchain isn't even 2 years old yet. So much happening, so many different communities being built and so many new people finding out about it and becoming active in the communities that interest them.
A lot of people are settling in with their activity, finding the missing parts that the platform needs and lacks and patching them up. The feeling of the small community I myself used to have about the platform is slowly starting to fade. With the increase in users the chances of everyone at one point interacting with another are decreasing.
Some people have big roles, some have medium ones while others have smaller ones. Everyone contributing in their own ways and many sharing the same beliefs that this technology will change the world and is already making big moves. It's really starting to feel like it's building up into it's own civilization.
Anyway, to get to my question I have today and was hoping for a healthy discussion. There are always key players and influencers in every community, it doesn't always matter what they stand for and what they do but to you they are the favorite ones because of the ways they do things and interact on the platform.
Who are your favorite Steemians and why?
On these #asksteemit posts I reward good discussions more than usual.
favourite steemian? I do not really have to think hard for an answer.
Number one on my list is @acidyo himself. The raw passion and enthusiasm for steem and steemit project that I have seen from him has never been matched by any other steemians I have interracted with. I am not saying that he is the most passionate, but the best I have been across as far as my steemit journey has taken me.
Next on my list is @pharesim. Even though I have not interacted much with him but his passion for steemit and humility makes a good combination. He breezes-in and out of steemit chat like every other minnow ^^. People that know him will understand what I am actually talking about here.
@justtryme90 and @lemouth will continue to be my source of inspiration and harworkas far steemit project is concerned. The tenacity shown by them towards the steemstem community and steemit project is amazing. Together with the management (@anarchyhasnogods, @suesa, @mobbs), the general curators (@zest, @kryzsec, @ruth-girl, @trumpman) and the language curators (@alexs1320, @aboutcoolscience, @greenrun, @guga34, @kingswisdom, @sco, @iamphysical, @carloserp2000 and myself); the scientific community has been given a leverage through the steemstem project and we just might see science taking its deserved place in the decentralized future.
The list could go on and on but I will not forget to mention people that have made significant contributions to my steemit experience. @suesa happens to be my mentor, @abigail-dantes, @erh.germany, @anarchyhasnogods, @apsu, @nely, @tarazkp, @futurethinker, @m31, @greenrun, @ehiboss, @gbenga, @earisu, @erodedthought, @leopatra and members of the steemstem community and dangerzone chat channel as whole.
Thank you for putting me on your list @gentleshaid :)
you deserve more :)
Well I wanted to shy away from mentioning you and saying that you Top my list of favourite steemians because you might see it as share flattery but what the heck! If I don't say it then I will be lying to myself .
@acidyo Tops the list of my favourite steemians because, evwlen though I don't know who he is or have seen his face before, his level of interaction on this platform has made me grow fund of him. He is a gamer and I am not, but because of him ,I have started developing interest in game playing and would proudly say he is my mentor when it comes to gaming. I also admire his philanthropic nature. He is just a cool guy.
The second on the list is @surpassinggoogle ...his love for humanity is second to none. He has so much passion for human life that sometimes you would think he is an angel. He is also a very philanthropic soul, always looking for ways to help others grow and that's just so cool of him.
The Third on my list is @humanearl ...God that guy inspires me. I read his every post and I draw so much inspiration from his every word. He takes his time to communicate with those who comments on his post and is a very friendly person. When you chat with him you would think you are having an actually conversation with him in real life.
The fourth on my list is @tarazkp ...dude is a talented writer, he inspires me to become a betelter writer and I love him for that. He can write about absolutely anything and if you wana get entertained then you have to follow his blog.
The fifth on my list is @greenrun ...He inspires me as an engineer. I also draw so much inspiration from reading from his blog. He is a talented engineer and does well with penning down engineering articles and I walk in his footsteps.
The sixt on my list is @strawhat ....He doesn't post much and perhaps doesn't communicate much but to me he is a steemit philanthropist and I love him for that.
The seventh on my list is @thejohalfiles ....i love the fact that he supports minnows and assists people who has so much passion for Steemit and are willing to promote it. He gave me hope when I almost lost hope due to low post payouts and I must say he is one of the reasons I am still in this platform. Thanks to him
If I continue , the list will be unending and so I will make a few quick mentions of other steemians who have inspired me over time ... @stellabelle, @anomadaoul, @vcelier, @runicar, @Karenmckersie, @damarth
A big thank you to you all...I appreciate you guys
A great list of cool Steemians in there. ;)
Yes, happy I came across you today @acidyo, and a fab post for finding more good people. Thanks you and also for the upvote!
I am new to steemit and be surprised with this list. It helps me a lot to know about famous steemians, from which to learn. I am Venezuelan and I have to translate to be able to write them but it is worth the work because I can know them to follow them and learn from all of you ..
This "a hot sit question for me". I am just 12days old on the platform and the journey hasnt been too difficult for me due to the few steemians i have followed their writings.
Its the ideal thing to start with the man who popped the question and this isnt to fulfill all righteousness but because its just the truth.
@acidiyo, he is one of the very few i started following when i started out on steemit and i must say this guy is the real deal. He seems to know little about everything and everything about little. His writing inspires me, i have come to break an habit because of him; i rarely play games but this guy writes in such a way that if felt like a crime if i don't get started with games and he has such a lovely personality. He is just awesome.
@ilyastarar..very real dude, teaches me how to survive on steemit. it can be so hard for a newbie having to face several posts from different people but this guy made my job easier, he through his post gave me a peek to how i can make the most out of steemit. His writings are so practical, his recent post opened my eyes to some lovely truths about steemit and have put them together to always give anyone coming to steemit through me so their journey here can be smooth and easy.
@czechglobalhosts
photography that brings brings life to you. The popular saying goes thus,"seeing is believing." you might want to check out her post yourself. She took photography to a whole new level.
You sure don't want to go through your day starving, i have the perfect blog you can always check out. Her recipe is out of this world. I mean she is just good like that and that is @allasyummyfood, she does it for me when it comes to food.
You sure don't want to be ignorant on anything that has to do with bitcoin, i have the perfect guy for that job and he is @haejin, he is so good at it he drops those news effortlessly.
You sure don't want to be in the dark concerning crypto, there is one guy for the job, i fondly call h
im the crypto guy, he is @ivanli, cool guy but very resourceful.
last but not the least on my list is @donkeypong, this dude is a great copywriter, His writing is so powerful you would see yourself in the description of his stories. I have learnt so much from him.
I have followed these people silently and it has helped me not only on steemit but also in my personal life
@dhamtex, i'll really love to get acquainted with you and your mentor @ilyastarar (did i spell that right?)
You spelled it right. Thanks @dhamtex.
You are so welcome @ilyastarar
Thanks @sistem You inspire me to check them out. This post is great for finding good people here. Very nice!
Hi @sistem So im checking out your favorites and come to @surpassinggoogle and all I see on his page is reposts...Im sorry if I am ignorant here, but Im new on Steemit and Ive come across a few of these profiles already, and dont get it? Are they just making money reposting and how? You say a lot of great things about him but is that just to get his attention or is there something Im missing here? (Obviosly there is)
On a personal level, I have to say that @futurethinker is probably the person I am closest to in the Steemit world. He contacted my right when I joined and asked me to join his discord channel, and I'm there ever since. He's my go-to person when I have questions or need advice on Steemit. We now are a small group of mentors in the @promo.mentors group, and I truly like all of them a lot. We have some good laughs together, and these people include @maverickinvictus, @andywong31, @tpkidkai, @raj808, @seyiodus and @dante31. It's refreshing to be around them (virtually speaking)
awww thanks Eve I love the @promo-mentors as well and have so much fun there and the way that we are helping new people in Steem is just awesome!
Thanks @evecab. I love everyone who is in the community. You all are wonderful.
Awww <3
Who are my favorites steeamiabs are plenty both whales and minnows. I will just list some of time here.
@surpassinggoogle : I liked him alot because he has helped many people on steemit by creating some contest for us and he is a good mentor or legend to follow, always check for his post daily @surpassinggoogle
@acidyo : my second liked steemians, he is a good person by creating some contest and telling us about his game and many things about steemit.
@mimy : my steemit crush #lol, I liked slot because of his post and his Beauty. He helped many minnows by creating some contest for them @ndjt
@ehiboss : big man in Nigeria, promoting steemit to the whole Nigeria
@gbenga : also like @ehiboss helping other I. What steemit is all about

https://steemit.com/massivevibrations/@mammasitta/my-past-life-on-tour-and-on-stage-with-miles-davis-and-femi-kuti-photo-taken-in-italy-1984-music-is-my-passion
Thank you for making this post and giving us the opportunity to share which Steemicans are our favorite!
First I want to thank you @acidyo for all of the support you give to minnows including myself and for giving newbies a sense of chance and encouragement. I appreciate every upvote you have given me since I’ve joined. It really means a lot and has helped me feel I can really do well here in this community.
My favorite Steemicans:
@canadian-coconut - She is one of the first people I found here on Steemit that shares the same views and lifestyle as I do. She homeschools, doesn’t care for vaccinations, prefers natural medicines and has a heart and love for people. She has been the most supportive of my work/blog and gives generously to this community. She helps run the @familyprotection account to help bring awareness about the lies and deceit of the CPS and other government services. She brings truth to the light about the foster care system and how these places are destroying families. This sweet lady works many hours rewarding others for their contributions and articles for the @familyprotection cause. She has also personally helped many families dealing with the CPS and is currently in the process of working towards helping families financially that are facing troubles with the system and need help keeping their families together. She also shares stories with us about Vaxxed, a movement that brings to light those families that have been directly affected by vaccinations.
@markwhittam - The first time I ran into his blog I knew I’d be following and supporting him. Since that day I have done so and have been upvoting and resteeming his posts. Why you ask? Because he brings so many fresh ideas to this plattform and makes you think of ways you can use your talents to better serve this community. His family is free spirited and they love to travel the world together. They too are a homeschooling/worldschooling family and they bring new ideas to the homeschooling community and ways we can get our kids active and thinking for themselves. He is the creator of the @familyprotection account and has a deep passion for this cause because he too was a product of the foster care system when he was young. He too works countless hours rewarding those that contribute to this cause and he together with @canadian-coconut are working on ways to use the funds from the @familyprotection account to start supporting these families in need. Oh and I can’t forget about the Steemit Roadshow. This go getter has been setting up his own booth and going from country to country to share Steemit to the world. Once people join he makes a special effort to make them feel welcome and supports them to encourage them to stay on the plattform. He really is an inspiring individual that loves his family and this community. I thank him too for all of his support with my work/blog!
@fathin-shihab - I really love this Steemian lady for what she brings to the plattform. She brings fresh new ideas and amazing talent with her sewing and creative skills! This talented woman designs her own sewing patterns and will make a post that shows you how she draws and writes them up. Then she’ll show a picture series or make a video of the process. She is also cold blooded with her 3D printer! She makes all kinds of Steemit and Steem fashion (jewelry, wearables etc.) and even chocolate you can actually eat!!! You can buy these Steemit souvenirs from her with Steem. She usually lets you know what’s up for sale. She too loves her family and shares some of those special moments with us. I love that she is not stingy in sharing her how to’s with us. Since we first met she has encouraged, supported and inspired me on how to make my posts better. I now share the process of my crochet work and love doing so!
@apanamamama - This lady right here...I consider her to be my closest friend here on Steemit! We have sooooo many things in common and we share a lot together even outside of this plattform. She is a Christian as I am, she homeschools, she loves crafting, has five children as I will have soon (our fifth baby is due this June 😃) and she also has a love for helping and supporting people in this community. We met from our Monday initiatives. She was sharing her beautiful quilts with us for #Makeitmonday and I had started the initiative #NeedleWorkMonday. She started joining in with us on Monday’s and using the tag along with her tag and it was peaches from there. She is one of the leaders and on the committee for @thesteemengine who supports and curates good valuable content and showcases it with ‘The Daily Whistle Stops’ curation post. We try to keep each other updated and in the know about things we know each other would be interested in. She is also a proud supporter and writer for the @familyprorection account. I love this lady! 💜
@crystalize - Let me tell you about a leader who is quick to take action! I ran into her blog and saw one of her posts about lampshade making. It blew my mind how beautiful it was and how she herself made it with her own hands. I immediately invited her to join us for #NeedleworkMonday and within a few hours she responded back she would be there. Not only was she there but she immediately stepped up and to help me out with the organization of this initiative. She reached out to me and asked me what she could do to help get the word out about our Monday’s. I told her if she runs into any blogs involving a needle craft to invite them on. That same night and many nights after she spent hours inviting people to join us. She is now my partner and co-chair of the #NeedleWorkMonday initiative and I don’t see how I was doing this without her. She organized a contest to get our initiative a logo made and it is so nice. It was created by @coinbelly! (see below) She works tirelessly with me to upvote and comment on every #NeedleWorkMonday post. We believe in supporting and encouraging one another as we share our creations and passions. We really want the needle arts to be a big part of Steemit and our initiative is growing every week! Oh and I can’t forget she is my ear when I need to vent about people misusing and abusing our tag lol! 😄
So there ya have it, my favorite Steemicans that I share so much with and am truly grateful for!!! 😊❤️
:) Thanks for the mention! You are definitely my closest Steemit friend I've never met in real life. :) This is a pretty great comment - it could be its own post. :) I need to get sewing on some baby girl boots. :) They'll have to be mailed when my parents come to see me in April.
Absolutely! I meant EVERY word! I hope someday in this lifetime we will get to meet in person. I know we were meant to be connected and I just really hope it just won’t be online. You are truly special and I am so thankful to have found you! ❤️
It’s funny you say that because I thought about making this my own post which I still think I will! 😉
I am so thrilled about those quilted baby boots! Only if you have time I really don’t want you to feel pressured. You know if anyone understands about not having a lot of time on their hands it’s me lol!!! Thank you so much for being willing to do this for me!!! 😘
Oh my goodness I just saw this @crosheille! You are too kind and I truly appreciate the wonderful things you have said here. It is my honor to work with you to facilitate the #NeedleworkMonday goals, and together I know we can move a mountain of yarn---Heee! Again, I'm so grateful!
Awww of course! You are so welcome! I really appreciate you and wanted to share that with everyone! Haaaa!!!!! Yes together we can move mountains of yarn, lol I love that!!! 😄😘
My favorite steemian is definitely @anomadsoul .His lifestyle is just simply awesome. I have a dream to travel around the world as a travel photographer one day and he is doing this right now and exploring different cultures. I am a sucker for culture so I definitely look forward to his updates here on steemit. I also love the fact that he organizes awesome contests- contests that make a lot of people search for art and life as it is. I havent won any of his contests yet but I absolutely love the fact that he organizes them and makes judicious ise of his VP.
Another steemian I admire is @surpassinggoogle . I am quite sure close to every regular steemian would have heard or learnt about him and the awesome work he does supporting minnows especially those from 3rd world countries. His #untalented tag contains a lot of awesome works and he manages to curate and resteem and upvote all these posts... he truly is an inspiration to this community.
Lastly, another steemian I admire is @gringalicious . Well I do not know a lot about her but lets face it, shes pretty, is freaking talented and is a photographer and artist.. not a lot beats that in my opinion. Cheers!!!
great question! i was just thinking about some of my favorite steemians this morning :)
the first one that comes to mind is @cabelinsday... he is a stellar cosmic ultrasonic love steeming kinda steemian! he is lately holding down a Steemit Vision Quest series you should def check out #svq... he makes steemit brighter just by being himself!!
another one i love is @kiaraantonoviche -- she is a very humble steemian- each week she curates a homesteader digest --- each week, for months! that scours the servers and sends posts and contests from the best of the week. that's a true labor of love! did a mention she does that every week for humble rewards?!
another one I LOVE is @schoonercreek (who i personally introduced to steem and she's steemin strong!), her posts are consistently amazing!! and so down to earth and beautiful. definitely someone to follow.
last but not least (though there are so many more i can highlight!), @eco-alex, the leader of our #ecotrain is truly a steemian to look at! he's hustling so much good stuff all over the blockchain, like bringing all of us ecotrain passengers together, thinking of interesting topics for us to write about. he's got great photos and built an eartship in india.. this guy is cool!!
i could go on! these are few that are on the top of my mind tonight... great post @acidyo!! thanks <3!
Awesome list, thanks! The only one I know is @cabelindsay as he is a curator for @ocd and I'm really glad to have him on the team! :)
yeah! it's so good to life others up... love initiatives like this... shine the spotlight !! @cabelindsay is one cool dude!!
I don't think I actually have favourite one, but the person who got my most attention was an actually new-comer which brings a lot of value to the community. He has only 1 post right now but he spreads a lot of value through his comments - @sblue crypto / IT side.
Another really good steemian on art and digital photo side of story is @vmoldo. This guy is indeed special with all his posts, editing and style.
I also consider myself a good example on the crypto-side of posts, that when I post about cryptocurrencies and create detailed, nicely written reviews on ICOs / different crypto gems that I find out there. Although lately my posts were diversified as I feel like steemit can be used like this as well - posting whatever you like and being a random ma'facker! 🤣🤣
I am on Steemit little more than a month. During this time I have seen many worthy users. But most of all I love two.
@canadian-coconut. She is one of the founders of the community #familyprotection. She helps people, who find themselves in a difficult situation by the council, together with other people she finances real projects in real life.
@crosheille. She is the organizer of the initiative #needleworkmonday. Every Monday we can lay out posts with our creativity in the field of sewing. And it can be any kind of creativity, that is associated with the threads) It gives you the opportunity to hear the views from the outside, get advice, inspired by the works of other participants.
Awww thank you so much @naditinkoff! It means a lot to me that you would mention me and put me down as one of your favorite Steemicans!! It’s been really good having you join us on #NeedleWorkMondays! I am so glad you are here! 💕🤗😃
@acidyo I have 5 Favorite Steemians right now......
These are my TOP 5 and yes there are so many others but I wanted to share the ones that keep me Motivated and make my Life better on STEEMIT Everyday !!
My favorite Steemians!
@surpassinggoogle has been an inspiration and gave me great advice on how to move on from depression. He has been an angel in this community and has helped a lot of Steemians.
@aggroed was the first one who noticed me when I joined last Dec I 've learned a lot from him on this platform especially when I regularly listened on his shows on MSP PAL on discord.
@stackin he's very interactive and gave helpful tips on how to grow on the platform and also on the 10X RULE tips. Such a cool guy, he has lots of followers in other social media platform yet he is still very approachable. My day won't be complete if I don't read his post. :) ♥
@flauwy he's MY APP TUTOR, he very helpful and interactive and discussed all APPS connected to the platform. Very friendly and approachable.
@modernpastor got great advice from him, may it be here on Steemit and in my personal growth as a person. He's been a good friend.
The very gorgeous @purepinay! She is beautiful inside and out. She is supporting and helping alot of Steemians grow. She's the Travel Queen of the Philippines.
@acidyo you are also one of those who are helping Steemians to grow on this platform. Thank you very much.
There are other helpful Steemians whom I'd like to thank like @tradewonk, @tarazkp, @sumatrate, @michelle.gent, @globocop, @mikel2la1, @tpkidkai, @kingxerxesdex, @juliank
I likewise appreciate perusing a ton of @donkeypong posts, you can simply rely on him to cover fascinating stuff and I truly appreciate perusing his motion picture related posts too every time they come around.
truly appreciate perusing what @kaylinart posts, he helped me get selected into steemit and his posts on bots and the internal parts of how steemit as a stage functions have been extremely useful to me.
@r2cornell , @stepenkendal , @surpassinggoogle my purpose behind picking them is on the grounds that even as an amateur they invited me and upheld me without requesting anything consequently.
@Damrth, @greenman, @sharonomics because a i love his donation project.
This is very hard to call, it is liking asking me to chose my favourite Manchester United player ever, different names will pop up my head for different reasons and attributes.
Now to Steemit, I cant go with just one favourite steemian. @surpassinggoogle and @acidyo would be my ideal favourite steemians.
As a minnow and a newbie, I have been awed severally at the extent of love that oozes from the man I regard as a steemit father to all minnows even though we have never interacted outside of the comments box before. His love for minnows and his support has been immense, I have benefited from his entering his contests and challenges especially the untalented-adjustment contest that gave me my first real earnings on steemit.
@Acidyo for being the only whale steemian that has given me a platform to discuss football which is something I really love doing, from his reviews and previews to the match predictions and most interestingly the opportunity to discuss fantasy premier league with him and other steemians and get rewarded with comments upvotes from time to time.
I also love @damarth for providing food for the hungry and reaching out to people with needs. He also supports new steemians by upvoting on introduction posts.
My favourite steemians are people with whom I can have a fun conversation together with reading good content. It doesn't really matter if they give big upvotes. But highly appreciate them lol.
If there is no connection there is no need for me in coming to someones blog. It will be boring as fuck (Even more boring than my stupid blog).
I like a lot of people but I will pick five, that I had fun reading or talking to in the last 7 days: @gamer00, @timsaid, @markkujantunen, @meesterboom, @nonameslefttouse.
Another one! Thank you! This post is putting a smile on my face.
Oh, no I'm busted. You shouldn't have seen it. It's a secret secret.
95% of the danger zone!
Why? Lots of fun, genuine humor and no false drama and begging. Also if you have any problem or doubt it's most likely it will be solved there very easily!
Cheers to that!
But if I really have to chose one person - then it is my friend @laniakea1 who invited me to steemit over a month ago.
Thats a hard question! I think it would be pretty hard to just pick 1 person...
I really enjoy reading what @eonwarped posts, he helped me get enrolled into steemit and his posts on bots and the insides of how steemit as a platform works have been very helpful to me! (he also has a super cute dog)
I also enjoy reading a lot of @donkeypong posts, you can always count on him to cover interesting stuff and i really enjoy reading his movie related posts too every time they come around!
I also started participating in your posts and following you @acidyo when i found out you were a fellow World of Warcraft player, WoW is one of my top 5 favorite games and i'm always looking forward for your streams :-D
There's so many other posters i enjoy reading but if i keep writing i will probably never end lol
Thanks, I noticed the title was for just one person still, the question in the end was meant for more Steemians but I forgot to change the title :)
@donkeypong writes excellent posts and does so much good for the community through curating and building!
Oooooooooh, so.. ok. That makes sense. I already posted my answer tho lol. I'll edit and add one more then.
Yes, I've been here for almost 2 months and donkey's effort to help the community are amazing!
My favourite steemians are @acidyo and @stellabelle.
@acidyo is very approachable, i remember the first time i talked to him on discord, he was very lively and easy going. He had the qualities of an accommodating person.
Secondly i think that only a person with a good heart will look out for people and help them. Look at what he is doing with @ocd, helping unrecognized and talented authors. This has put smiles on people's faces and this has made him my favourite person any time, any day.
@stellabelle is real, i love her energy and the sincerity she puts in her blog. Most times, after a stressful day, her funny videos usually lighten up my mood. She is funny, unique in a weird way and i think steemit will be boring without her.
Damn, Acidyo, that's a hard question. There's so many Steemians whom I love. When I started, the only person who really supported me and talked to me was @purepinay. Otherwise my experience was pretty rough. I started to form communities with people from my country and gained some Venezuelan acquaintances to whom I talk today every once in a while.
Hmmm, there's @donkeypong. I think his posts are the ones I enjoy the most. I would expect a whale to be like you or exyle, just posting their whatever they want and earning money through massive votes, but Donkeypong actually has giant blogs filled with content everyday, and it's content that I truly enjoy, since I'm constantly immersed in the world of fiction, be it in literature or movies.
There's many other Steemians whose content I enjoy a lot and with whom I enjoy talking, but these are my favorite ones by far.
But hey, this question, it could start fights :O "What do you mean I'm not your favorite author!? I always give you massive upvotes! I'm going to give you less money now"
And I also enjoy your questions a lot. If you keep making me write big comments, I'm going to enjoy your posts much more lmao.
edit: So I noticed that you wanted more Steemians :O There's someone whose content I always enjoy. I discovered her not long ago and she always has inspiring art that changes the way that I write my posts. She's called @itinerantartist here. I've always been amazed by her quality and the fact that she goes unnoticed all the time. It really makes me wonder.
I've been following @purepinay since the first few days i started on steemit :-D she goes on amazing adventures across the Philippines and participates a lot in growing the steemit community in the island!
I also enjoy a lot reading donkey's post, what a coincidence! :-D
I'm currently laying in bed wrapped in tons of blankets and scarves all sick and weak and missing home - and reading this made me feel better than the meds :')
ok I'm going to go back to being feverish and emotional ;p
^typing with one hand -.-
I'm less than a month old here.I don't know many people. But out my following list,I can mention a few who write indeed very great.
The first one is @tarazkp ..He always posts quality posts here..I don't think he promotes himself the way many other steemians do..He is simple and powerful.
In second place I will put @exyle and his mother @cilo . @exyle is continuously motivates people like me through his vlogs to never give up. His mother also writes very well.
In third place I will put @firepower ..he is doing great service of being himself an ambassodar of steemit in our country,India..His mother is also here on steemit.she is @geetharao
Fourth place goes to @surfyogi ..Although I haven't benefitted from him personally,It is apparent that he is very much supportive to the new people.
I want to put this guy @jerrybanfield also in the list..He says he spends millions of dollars for advertising about steemit..most of the time he advertises his own name..Many people like me have started to think that there is no steemit if no Jerry banfield!
I started following you,@acidyo only on yesterday..So I don't know much about you..I think you are also a great steemian..that's why I ended up following you!
Great Idea thank you @acidyo my favorite is : @sebastianjago
he is doing a great videos about cryptocurrency & other things
lot of useful information but he didn't get enough support for the community !
i usualy upvote him 100% but my steem power is small
Thanks, I'm gonna take a look at his content! :)
Threw him a follow!
that's great you will not regret :)
@acidyo That's an easy question for me sir. You are the only one who has supported me so much without even knowing me! I've noticed how the same applies for many others on steemit, you're a benevolent force around here. Most of my reputation points are definitely there thanks to you. Even people that know me in real life haven't been supporting that much. I might be a bit biased but you're definitely my favorite steemian. I'm not saying this to get an upvote, I'm sure you remember me by now, you've upvoted my stuff many times! THANKS MAN
My favourite steemians:
@stackin because he's a fun guy and he carries everyone along... He always finds time to reply his comments
@dobartim When he's in the mood for poetry, he write as if he has been possesses by the spirit of Apollo
@swissclive he interacts very well and shows support to those who deserves it. He doesn't tolerate spamming of any sort, he's a good person but, don't get carried away, he's always a step ahead.
And you @acidyo are my favorite gunner here 😁
You the best man 😎
My favorite steemian is @surpassinggoogle. Why? Because he is a very good man, he helps a lot of steemians he's willing to help always he doesn't care whether you're a newbie, a minnow or a big whale. Status is not a deal to him. And most amazing with him is he interacts with steemians by commenting on your post and by reaching you on social media just to give you tips and steps on how to be successful in this community which is a good thing especially for the newbies.
Selflessness that's the word!
Thanks @acidyo 👍🏻
@ejemai, because he is the one that introduce me to steemit.
He gave me some sense of belonging to a community, with so much love and understanding and since then, I never for once regretted joining Steemit
Lets co tinue steeming it guys
My favourite steemians are @surpassinggoogle , @bigtom13 , @bethalea my reason for picking them is because even as a newbie they welcomed me and supported me without asking for anything in return, not everyone can do that ever since they earned my respect and remain my favourite.
@lawlees is my favorite Steemians and favorite people of my life too. He is the one who introduced me to Steemit Community. I joined Steemit yesterday and he have helped me a lot to engage with Steemit Community. He taught me many things about Steemit and I am very thankful to him. Also, @lawlees is my old friend since my high school days and it has already been 6 years, I have known him.
My favourite steemian is @samstickkz because he has been able to build a community at Uyo. Steemit was not initially known in Uyo as at February 2017. He brought Steemit awareness to the city of Uyo and the community has over 200 active steemians. His achievement attracted the establishment of Steem Accelerator Hub in Uyo powered by @stach .
Hi @acidyo Im very new to Steemit, took me a little while to get the hang of it and yes, seeing if I could get a sense of community here. Ive started to post and share. Last week I found @papa-pepper and then I got it. A homesteader, that makes it real for me. Crypto is fun and exciting, but people living off grid, living off the land, cultivating happy communities and children and making good food, well thats the real deal and really what we need today. That made it real for me and I am now excited to discover more. We need real value, wonderful that we can support each other with rewards here, but I am for sure going to search out the people sharing real value.
@tarazkp as he has really spent a lot of time looking after me.
Wow @tarazkp sure has a lot of alts mentioning himself XD.... JK
topkek
Yeah so sad.
Wow, there are a number of steemians I have grown to appreciate and have become my favorite steemians not only for assisting me to acclimate to this wonderful platform but for the encouraging support they have shown me and still continue to. @leap8 is my partner :P and he was the first to invite me to engage in the steemit community, I was a bit on the fence about joining but I'm so glad I did! He introduced me to the @promo-mentors group. It is there that I had the pleasure to connect with @futurethinker and @raj808, they welcomed me into their community and helped me to grow creatively. @promo-mentors is fun, educational and has become a sort of extended family. Another steemian that has become a favorite of mine, is @anomadsoul, his passion for travel and adventure is an inspiration for me as I desire to travel internationally beginning next year.
Thank you so much @blanca237!!! I am also very excited to have met leap8. I have a feeling we will also be partners (work partners :P)
Ooo!! the more the merrier :P ... he is also very excited.
I think my absolute favourite Steemian is @NoNamesLeftToUse The Writer/Artist Himself. (Yes, that is his whole name, and no, there is no comma, which I learned the hard way when he called me out on it.)
I met him in chat when I was brand new, and my first posting transaction on the Steem platform was commenting on his blog. He makes some kickass weird abstract art; you can always find at least 3 different faces in any given piece, if you're looking. He usually writes a wacky and funny story to go along, too (hence his name). Even though the character he portrays in his writing/art posts is often bouncing-off-the-walls crazy, he's actually a very level-headed guy who really cares for the people and gives back to his followers and the platform.
Let me start by clarifying I don't disparage people for taking SBD out of the system. We're humans. Humans have to eat. But @NoNamesLeftToUse has never even drawn a salary from his work here. Everything he makes, last I checked, goes to purchase and power-up STEEM, unless he's donating to a prize pool for a comedy competition. Again, this could change at any point and I think he would deserve that change. But it's just icing on the cake. The guy really cares for what we're building here and shows it with his actions, on both Steemit and the ledger.
I see what you did here. Thank you for this.
Lol, stalker! It was my pleasure.
Also, FML. I just read through it again and realised I buggered up your name. Must have been what I call "Steem Brain." It works like this... when you replace your sleep time with Steem time for weeks on end, you get Steem Brain. Fixed it now.
You have no idea how much I dislike finding out I've made a typographical error. I might rather endure actual physical pain. What's worse-- I may be able to edit it here, but it will be on the blockchain forever.
I should probably just delete my account and start over. Wait-- blockchain. Shit!
Don't worry. I've left thousands of mistakes on this blockchain. I survived!
@tarazkp for his quality and consistency of work and @dreemit for being one of the nicest, friendliest and most encouraging within our community. :)
thank you mate.
A pleasure mate.
Aw, right back at you sweetheart ;)
May be @sweetsssj. She shares a lot of her travelling experience and photos!
My favorite Steemians share some or all of these qualities: they are kind, humble and helpful without expectation; they are good writers, clear thinkers and have discerning taste/judgement.
In no particular order, here are some Steemians that I admire, besides yourself @acidyo, for the reasons listed above: @tarazkp, @kevinwong, @carlgnash, @kenny-crane, @d-pend, @authorofthings, @rensoul17, @sircork, @godflesh, @naquoya.
They all make a difference and the platform is better for their example—a kind of elegance of spirit and generosity—as well as their quality work
Thanks for putting me in a list with such fine people! I'm honored. :) Not sure if I live up to such high praise but it's my goal to achieve such qualities as you mentioned.
You have a noble soul, Kenny, that was my main criteria and you aspire to give others a hand. For those reasons, you belong on a list of Steemians one would be lucky to know. Stay blessed, my friend 🙏🏼
My mentors who have supported and taught me, day by day with their publications full of valuable information are: @acidyo, @votovzla, @thejohalfiles, @timcliff, @reko, @papa-pepper and other Steemians that I mention in another opportunity, not to extend, that I owe them a lot for their great support in the best platform of the 21st century that changes lives, called Steemit. Thank you.
My favorite steemians are the ones who upvote me lol I'll be real...I am in 2 stages right now on steemit...Grow my following, and grow my steem power...
I want to get to 100,000 SP one day so that I can stop upvoting myself so often and start blowing the minds of some people who also need the money. One goal at a time, have to make it to 1,000 SP first
The heroes of steemit are the whales and orcas that upvote posts/comments of the minnows and dolphins. Without their encouragement to hang in there (along with some bad attitude trolls that try to sour the experience) it can be a discouraging place. The future is bright on Steemit as facebook & youtube are slowly hemorrhaging from their own self inflicted wounds.
I haven't been on Steemit very long, but my favorite Steemians at this point are whales who are sincerely trying to make the platform grow and are generous with their followers. This list includes the following:
@broncnutz - this guy is a hoot. He is a fun loving man who is passionate about crypto assets, football and likes to have a good time. He offers good, practical advice to novice crypto investors.
@zer0hedge - this person is interested in economic issues and seems to have an independent and somewhat Libertarian bent, as I do. He likes to have good discussion on this blog.
@dana-edwards - this person is a free thinker who also likes to foster good discussion on her blog.
@acidyo - I don't interact with you much because you are quite a bit younger than I am and I usually don't have much to contribute to your blog. You are a serious gamer, but the games I played were probably in vogue before you were born - Asteroids, Pac-Man, Space Invaders, etc. Still, you seem like a good guy who wants the platform to grow.
I also like a number of other Steemians who are smaller fish but like to have interesting discussions and are working to improve the Steemit experience for everyone. I believe we are still in the early stages of Steem and are going to be very happy with the growth of the platform in the coming years.
Generally, I try to curate content as I think it's the most beneficial for steem in the long run. Of course, I have some favorites. I don't wanna list everyone and unintentionally miss some of them but I can't go without mentioning my top favorite @suesa.
Hmmm favourites... There is a dozen of people that I like and they already know that they are my favourites because I constantly come to their blog to chat lol (Straw for example).
You can check @george-topalov, he is cool and kinda new here.
It’s a mad mad world out here on steemit. It is hard to define the site. It is many things for many people. Not a typical blog site. Photos, travel, food, personal stuff etc. It is just a reflection of life itself, isn’t it?
I found my comfort with steemstem. @mobbs is the reason why. The dude took a personal interest in some of my work, contacted me, worked with me on aspects of my blog and when I told him that I had more money than steemit can ever pay me, he showed me why there was so much more to this than money. It is rare that people will hold your hand and walk with you some distance so you can can learn their skills. I do a lot of teaching myself academically. When I teach and train now, there is always a little of @mobbs helping me in getting me to do my job better. If I am better than steemit is better. Steemit owes a lot to folks like @mobbs.
Who's in their 30's and still likes to play PC games?
of course @acidyo :)
My first favorite steemian is @surpassinggoogle he is an awesome individual and then @hr1 also I like my mentor and friend @iwrite
My list is not so big as I'm still a new steemian.
I’ve only joined Steemit for a short time, and my main interests are in travel, culture and photography, so I only know a few in these fields till now. I'm exploring more on this platform and discovering more influencers along the way.
For now I really appreciate the efforts of @czechglobalhosts, who is dedicated in hosting contests for travel and photography enthusiasts like me, and the founders and curators of #SteemitWorldMap, who are working hard in building a community for travelers. Since I'm living in Australia, I get to know a bit about #teamaustralia - people in this team are constantly sharing great content and organising cool activities. I also join @juliank’s daily photography contests quite often. I believe that’s a popular challenge many photography lovers follow regularly. Another awesome Steemian I know is @eroche, who is running the #culturevulture challenge and sharing statistics about blockchain.
Besides, I recently heard OCD is curating good content, and I read about the new updates yesterday, but I’m still not clear how the team find the content from so many authors? Are there any tags except for the once-in-a-month #ocdresteem one? Thanks @acidyo for creating this and for enlightening me! =)
I Came here to mention my favorite steemians as the post suggests but i had to pause and take a few seats back. Am here not reading through comments and getting to know about a lot of other amazing and influential steemians that i dnt know of. Amazing stuff. Now am busy clicking on their profiles and following them.
Who else agrees?
And my favorite has been mentioned times over already by soo many people. @surpassinggoogle
