Ghostwriting is an interesting concept that I'm torn on whether or not I approve of. As a composer, I despise the people that have entire songs/albums written for them from ghostwriters and then proceed to profit from them. Stuff like this is prevalent from pop to film music, where a big studio can pay for the perfect song.
But on the other hand, let's say that there is a person that has their basic ideas and want help with the technical aspects. For music this could be more interesting chord structures, better counterpoint, orchestration, etc. For writing it could be as simple as fixing grammar to really shaping the ideas into a more cohesive narrative. Then I think that ghostwriting is on an acceptable level because you aren't essentially stealing someone's IP but rather using their skills to facilitate.
But I agree with the post in that simply hiring someone to be writing blog posts for you and then posting them and taking the credit is not right.
