Oh yeah, Moebius rocks! Glad to know that you're a fan ^_^.
Thanks meloooooooooo :).
wow lovely art work its really very nice :))
Thank you ruhi :).
Great work, reminds me a little of Moebius or as you mentioned Western sci-fi comics. Very cool.
Yep. Totally channeling Moebius here :).
Thanks Jeremy ^_^.

Thank you artzone :).
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
i loved, LOVED, LOVED this one as a sketch.... and it is amazing in colours OMG~ There's just SO MUCH narrative in this picture, like, an impending sense of something dramatic that's about to happen !!! SO EXCITING !!!
Beautiful desert colours, that pale blue sky is a wonderful contrast that both raise the focus onto the central elements of the picture and it also complements and tempers the russet spaces at the lower half of the canvas <3 Very nice \o/
I really love this one, @scrawly <3 One of my favourites from you <3 <3 <3
upvotes and resteems
Ehhh? That is surprising to hear, I didn't know that you like this one that much. I'm very happy to hear that though, huhuhu.
Thank you spider ^_^.

Very cool. Sounds like a good premise for a video game. 😎
Hehehe, well now I can imagine it. An action adventure game, or a platformer :D.
Thanks trin ^_^.
An interesting plot and excellent technique of drawing! I already wanted to go to the store and buy feathers and black mascara. I have never tried painting in watercolor on top of the carcass. It needs to be fixed)) Thanks for the motivation!
Oh?! Feathers and black mascara? That sounds so interesting. And I'm glad to be able to motivate.
Thank you :).
I remember that I liked to draw with a reedfeder and feathers. Also, I completely painted over a sheet of paper with ink and rice with a sharp needle when the ink dried out. I scratched to white paper, it turned out interesting.
What an unusual story. And beautiful execution!
Thank you again, yurche ^_^.
Nice story fam and piece of art.
The Return!
That's right :D.
Thanks Maxi ^_^.
Interesting style, and you're right. The colors are vibrant in this. A good combination of warm colors with the cool color of blue not overpowering. :)
I'm glad when things worked out nicely.
Thank you Blue, you're always kind ^_^.
You're very welcome!
Oof the addition of colour added a pretty big impact to the already impressive drawing :D\n\n

You are made out of sugar, ryry... and I have sweet tooth <333333.
Thank you.
Should I be worried D: LoL XD
I also have razor sharp teeth, as you can see in my avatar xD.
But noooo.... why should you be worried!!!
About getting eaten? XD
Ohhh, there's no need to worry about that. I'm not a big eater, just a little nibble here and there :D~.
Reminds me of the french comix of my childhood :)
Oh I am glad that you said that! Mission accomplished for me ^_^.
Thank you, double tyger :).
Love the style of line and flat and slightly graded colour @scrawly. Reminds me a little of those colouring books where the colour appeared as you brushed over the paper with water.
Also reminds me of Dorothy's journey along the yellow brick road to meet the Wizard only to find out that 'There's no place like home.' The journey out into the world and then returning back home again, even though it may be painful, is so significant in all our lives. And once we can do that we can ask 'our maker' to show us how to keep a cool brain. !tip ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
Oh Ally, I am so lucky to receive your wonderful and thoughtful comments. It is true what you said, there is no place like home, even if the world is so exciting and grand, there is that feeling of incompleteness if we can't return home.
Thank you, you brighten up my day <3.

Wonderful colours and I like this story line. Is it your original idea? Like are you going to pursue it? Or is it from one your many cool manga/animation series you are so up on? Either way, great illustration.
It is a short story that I have in mind. I don't think I will pursue it as a complete form since that would require a lot of commitment, but I might draw another scene or two from this universe.
Thank you Donna ^_^.
Beautiful! I love to see and paint desert landscapes, it always fills me up with a mix of joy and sadness. Really lovely work!
Yes, I know what you mean. I also like vast landscapes, they are so beautiful and filled me with various emotions.
Thank you siucatti :).
I envy how you can work with color. very good!
And I envy how you work so well with your designs, nekro. Sooooooo good <3.
That pic is sooooo eighties . Good work

Thanks longer :).
Really love this one, reminds me a bit of the comics in Heavy Metal magazine from when I was young... a little bit like the atmosphere in a drawing by Moebius.
I'm glad that I manage to capture the spirit of those heavy metal comics since they are the inspiration of this drawing.
Thank you Reinhard :).
Following!
Super fantastic pic. :)
Awww thank you very much, doctorcrypto :).
noooooo turn back!!!!!
WHYYYYY!!!!??? Why did you want to get your brain chip fried??
She has lived for many many years, but there's always this nagging feeling inside her that feels unresolved. That's the gist of it anyway.
Sojuuuuuu <3. Happy weekend!
Oh, its the weekend!!! I didn't realise. lol
You hit me with this one, really, since I went to place i was born first time after 21 year, several years ago. War took me out of my place of birth and coming back as a tourist to a place of birth and childhood time was something that can't be explained easy.
But you touched me with this one a lot @scrawly!
Oh thank you very much my dear Dunja for sharing me part of your life story. I am very happy when my art can communicate with someone on a personal level, that makes it worth it for me to draw and share.
<3
fun
Thank you :).
Amazing. This is the same quality of Jean Giraud's drawings, one of my most favorite illustrators.. I liked also the story behind your artwork.
Oh gosh, now that is a praise I'm not worthy to receive. And shamefully I have to wiki his name and found out he's Moebius himself.
You are too much, felix, thank you very much! ^_^

While the art is good, it doesn't really convey what you describe early on.
Either the art manages to convey what it should, in which case a description is not needed, or it doesn't, in which case, the explanation only further accentuates that failing.
Food for thought on the text that accompanies the art. The art itself is good, but nothing about it speaks of an artificial human, and very little of a return to home, and there's but a slight hint of trepidation, if one looks for it.
I like complicated art, maybe that's why we have to agree to disagree.
But thank you for your comment, I appreciate it :).
