Good posting.. That comment about the specialized coin connected with Steemit is one of the huge keys.. Mostly because any and all coins and tokens ride on the blockchain.. Having something like FB doing a coin is going to not work as expected, because what ever changes FB makes, will show up in the block chain,, and once that happens, people can track the origin of the change and track the results of a specific change..
The thing about FB is the interface works, its easy to use, and there is a lot of convince in that.. That in its self is a very good thing. Its all the behind the scenes fuckery that if it gets on the blockchain,, they certainly will not be able to pull the same stunts invisibly..
