Everyone who is or who has ever been enrolled in degree programs knows that to pass an exam in a university you need to memorize facts.

Not all disciplines resemble stamp collecting. You'll have a hard time googling your way to knowledge in maths, physics, or engineering, and even if you can find a solution to your engineering problem on the Web, I would rather employ the one that came up with it and put it there than the one that found it through Google.
