MINI YODA

Greetings again! Today I bring you an illustration I made of the famous character Yoda in his most childish version. I will leave the process step by step and at the end you will see the photo I used as reference to create this illustration.

Saludos de nuevo! Hoy traigo una ilustración que realice del famoso personaje Yoda en su versión más infantil. El proceso lo dejare paso a paso y al final verán la foto que utilice como referencia para crear esta ilustración.

The first thing I do is the sketch of the character.

Lo primero que realizo es el boceto del personaje.

We made the lines that will give life to this great character

Realizamos las líneas que van a dar vida a este gran personaje

I fill in each base colour but this time I decide to use two shades per colour and do a Gaussian blur to get a softer texture.

Relleno cada color base pero Esta vez decido utilizar dos tonalidades por color y realizar un desenfoque gaussiano para obtener una textura más suave.

As I have done before, I use a layer in multiply mode for each color and I make with the base color the shadows where it would correspond.

Como lo he realizado anteriormente uso una capa en modo multiplicar por cada color y realizo con el color base las sombras donde correspondería.

It is now time to give it more depth by using one layer per color in raster mode and applying the gloss where needed.

Ahora corresponde darle más profundidad usando una capa por color en modo trama y aplicando el brillo donde sea necesario.

I apply the color I want as a background and with a layer in multiply mode I make a line to the contour and then blur to obtain that result.

Se aplica el color que deseo como fondo y con una capa en modo multiplicar realizo un trazo al contorno y luego desenfoco para obtener ese resultado.

I felt that the drawing was incomplete and decided to make a kind of picture that would give the impression that our friend mini Yoda was coming out of it by leaving a piece of the ear outside and applying a projection of the character's shadow

Sentí que el dibujo estaba incompleto y decidí realizar una especie de cuadro que se diera la impresión de que nuestro amigo mini Yoda estaba saliendo del mismo dejando un pedacito de la oreja por fuera y aplicando una proyección de la sombra del personaje

This is the image he uses to guide me. As you can see, it's a statue of the same character.

Esta es la imagen que utiliza para guiarme. Como ven es una estatuilla del mismo personaje.
