Mosaic Art

in #art8 years ago (edited)

From the earliest childhood I liked doing something with my hands. I painted postcards for family holidays or made products from natural material - pebbles, stones, flowers, twigs; cooked with my grandmother and mother cookies and pies, made "fashionable" hairstyles for my friends and sewed doll's clothes. I think that many girls had such a childhood and I am glad that my parents encouraged and welcomed my beginnings. Thanks to them I did't lose interest in creativity.

With age postcards "grew up" in school wall newspapers, flower's crafts helped me better versed in them, collect herbarium, make bouquets. And only with clothes for dolls my story goes on. But now I sew clothes for dolls of the niece.

Another of my hobbies was mosaic. I have worked in a ceramic tile shop, so we had a lot of such goods. I began to collect patterns, different shapes from the remnants, pieces of mosaic. My family gave me a book on mosaic art when they saw my interest. Here I found inspiration for my first job.

Of course I did not know a lot and it is not perfect. But anyway I tried and I liked it.

I think that in any work there is no limit to perfection and we must constantly learn and develop.
