3D Modeling - The Hot Rod

in #art7 years ago

This is todays project, I got a pretty good start on it last night. I've talked about Wings3D many times but I don't think I ever showed a screengrab of that program. It is the Foundation of most of my Models. ( Its also a free download ) Here is the Body and Frame ready to be imported into Bryce Pro7.

Here's the Body in Bryce and I tried to reuse the Front Cowl and lights from the Zeppelin Model from yesterday.

That purple got old quick so it went to red. A engine that was made previously and saved was added and I created the first wheel. A nice wide set for the rear. I only Have to make one wheel, then I can hit ctrl-D and it gets duplicated and I can just position into place using the X-Y-Z edit tab. A cool feature in Bryce that's a real time saver.

These Models go through many changes as I create them. I got rid of the Cowl. I'll Build one from scratch today. Also at the last minute I decided to chop the top and body to give it a Rat Rod look. This left me with some alignment issues that Ill sort out today.

Thanks for stopping in and taking a look at my Artwork.
