My first oil painting

in #art6 years ago

When my uncle bought a forest house after some hunter, I decided to paint a picture in a forest-hunting atmosphere. Once in the chain store I bought acrylic, watercolor and oil paints. I've already painted all of them except oil paints, so I decided it’s a good moment to try them out. However, it turned out that it is not so easy because they behaved differently than those. My total lack of understanding of oil paints meant that I did not feel well because there was still something on the canvas that I did not want or did not expect, but the final effect was so funy, so I decided to give what came out. The worst in oil paints was the drying time, the canvas was only a day and a half to dry. I spent a lot of time with the open windows with the dryer in my hand, then framed the picture in a frame and packed it nicely. Aunt and uncle liked my gift and it looks great on the wall in a forest cottage.
