I was 18 then. Man, I used to pick up drawings of my dad when he was 18 and it just blew my mind. I thought 18 was so old back then haha. Anyway, shortly before this drawing I had discovered my style. It's a transformative moment in an artist's life to figure out who he is. It's really beyond explanation -- I just wish everyone could experience the gratuity of that wild and exhilarating time.
This first pic is kinda terrible but do you blame me? I was 18. Lol. Besides that I didn't really take that many progress pics but the one before this has none so I can't complain too much. I remember when I was making this. Wow, just beyond description.

The drawing in this stage is pretty much complete. I didn't draw the whole page because I was terrified of messing it all up. The rest is done digitally. I was so happy to see the result of this drawing.
This final stage is my mindset at this point in time. I wanted to escape into a world where everything I ever wanted manifested faster than the speed of light.
...My mindset hasn't changed, just my perspective.
