"ORANGE RAIN"
Oil on wooden board.
Using darks to the extreme!
It gives so much TONAL CONTRAST to the orange pitcher-vase thing and orange raindrops! Which are made with the tip of the palette knife, with one single stroke. They must not be blurry!
So it becomes more mezmerizing.
And orange/turqoise - yet another contrast!
That's COLOR CONTRAST.
Those two look good together almost every time.
Bunch of close-ups as well:
Stay tuned for future oil painting+tips posts!
And have a good day of painting!
