I have some fan art this week from an indie game called Death’s Door that came out mid-2021. The main character is a little crow:
While we wait on Silksong, the sequel to Hollow Knight, I feel like Death’s Door was the perfect game in the interim. Very similar vibes in regards to atmosphere and tone, and the combat was absolute perfection.
I started with several very rough sketches to choose a starting point:
I ended up going with this one:
I then color-blocked the sketch and cleaned up the pose:

Has anyone else played this amazing game?! Hoping to get a few more pieces done from this game world.

Think where this thing would succeed at being any sort of harbinger of doom is because people would be going AWWWW at it until it was too close for them to be able to dodge the sword XD
