The art house Lauba in Zagreb had an exhibition called “Superheroes 2.0”.
It was a result of an international collaboration with Swiss institution Maison D’Aillerurs. The work of 5 artists (Gilles Barbier, Mathias Schmied, Adrian Tranquilly, Audrey Piguet and Alexandere Nicolas) wanted to show us a different human side of the superheroes.
This pop art exhibition shows us that they are just ordinary people with flaws, hopes, break downs, flesh and bones. The artists worked in five mediums – painting, comic, sculpture, photography and installation.
These art pieces want viewers to understand the human side of superheroes, but also to discover the superpowers inside of themselves.
I truely love postmodern art
Me too. I saw some of Warhol's work and it was amazing. I love art and I will do more posts like this :)
Imagine having a lasso of truth... I think it would take years off of one's life--poor Wonder Woman!
