I didn’t think anything like this could be done in acrylics. I always assumed the more serious painting were almost always done in oil. It is inspiring to see paintings like these. Thank you <3

Thank you @svensugars! Oils are actually easier to handle but take longer because of the dry times.
Easier to handle?! Nice :) I've dabbled in oils but I always found my colours getting very muddy. There for I always assumed acrylics would be easier in general but I think I should give them some more serious attention when I get the chance again.
Oils give you time, acrylics give you speed. Oils can get muddy if you are uncertain about the color you want and you start to mix it in the painting instead on the palette. It's still much easier to find your colors with oils because they look the same regardless if they are still wet or dry. Acrylics but change when they dry and if you are dealing with subtle colors this can be a problem.
