Hard to believe, I'd find that very difficult!
It was really hard, this is one of my best ones i guess. Not sure how much time i was working on it, but i remember that i had no sleep for long time, i fell asleep on the chair and my father woke me up 12 hours later...
The crisp edges i do with pentool selections, and masks for the more complex shapes.
You can see the cables hanging from the top. I had to do a bit more shading there but i was sick of it. :)
Haha... I know these sleepless nights. What I really find amazing, is how you did the hair!
Thank you. Well the hardest part was to figure out the spine, the lower back, and the hip.I did the hair after i did the linework so you can see the patience there. If you use Photoshop occasionally for painting, and if you wish, i can send you my brushes. :)

By the way, at first i was thinking the same thing about the digital art.I even hated it cause i was thinking it's lazy. But then my teacher showed me the ways. it's like any other tool with his good sides and downfalls i like it cause i can do as much detail as i like and i don't need to spend tons of money for materials, investing time is enough, sooner or later you will develop your own technique.
This beautiful ancient one from the land of machines is no longer forgotten. She has been rebooted and put back online. She will be featured in a Robotical Expo in Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg. Her name should be something like Sophia Ulyana. And when everyone first sees her they all go into a bidding war to own her. Sophia cries at all the attention and love, she has been hidden and alone for so long all of the excitement is not only overwhelming but like a dream come true.....This is just my take on it and what I see when I look at her.

Thanks! It's actually not just a Droid. It's a droid with implemented AI that is built over the copied consciousness framework of a real nonartificial brain. It's really special for it's creator cause the consciousness is of his dead wife... Science and love... how these two things merge together ha :D check out "Memory" the story starts there :) i hope you would like it
